i used caller id to call the number that appeared on my phone.  the recording states that i have called the national rifle association.

I have approx. 10 different numbers that they have used. What do they want! They even call on Sunday
night but they don't answer when you pick up the phone to tell them to stop calling.

It is not the Nat. Rifle Assoc.  They are NRA  National Recovery Associates.  They appear to be misrepresenting who they are hoping to catch you another time.

These idiots have been calling for years now.  They don't believe me when I tell them that the person they ask for is not at this number because he has the same first name as mine.  At first, they tried to tell me they were the National Rifle Association and wanted me to join!  They tried to get me to give them my credit card number to put the fee on it!  I told them I didn't have one so they asked for a check...and so on.  I asked them if they would please snail mail me the information with an application.  They said they would at least 3 times, but never do because they are the NATIONAL RECOVERY ASSOCIATES...not the NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION.  DON'T BE FOOLED.

866-275-3315 says it's a TOLL FREE CALL. When I called it back they say they are the National Rifle Association but it's NOT!    This number is bogus.

I Googled NATIONAL RECOVERY ASSOICATES and it doesn't exist. The only thing that comes close is National Recovery Agency.

Got this call and the Caller ID said "Out of Area" with no other info.  Didn't answer but callled the num back later.  Got a recording stating that they were the Nat'l Rifle Asso.  They might be lying but I don't have any unpaid debts.

I have about had it with bogus scam artists.  just had one about get us for 200 bucks, my husband ordered something, thank God he opted for the money order instead of the credit card version, the company kept "delaying" and them they jsut started hanging up everytime we called to check on the product.  Da*&^&^&*^ these people!  why dont they get put out of business?  I turned the others in to the BBB, but what else can we do, esp to these kinds of ppl, who use the telephone as a way to get to consumers.  is there a way to track these effers down???

I keep getting calls from this number and they have asked for Jimmy Allan or Allen? I told them he does not live at this address or he has never lived at this address and they keep calling. The telephone number that keeps calling is (866) 275-3315.

Every morning around 8:15 I get a call from this number.

Received calls from this number.  Last one was at 12:24 pm on Nov. 2, 2010. Comes up unavailable on caller id.  Left no message.

This number is tied to an actual collections agency in PA but they appear to be cold calling in order to troll for information.

I called the real NRA and told them about this number and the bogus message.The number 866-275-3315 is NOT THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION.I hope this company is sued out of business,there a scum bag debt collector.

Does not leave a message, but calls around 8:59 every night.

I looked the number up on another web site and it's a collection agency.

It IS the National Rifle Association. If you call the number back and listen to the message, at the end there is place where you can remove your number from their calling list. I did it three weeks ago, and they have never called me since.

It's The National Rifle Association, stupid!  Where did you get the idea it was anybody else??? Call the number back...what does the recording say..."Thank you for calling The National Rifle Association, we are very sorry we missed your call...if you would like your number removed from our calling list, please enter your number at the tone, and we will remove you in no more then 2 business days." I did just that over three weeks ago, and they haven't called me since.

It IS The National Rifle Association - stupid. All you have to do to have your number removed from their calling list is call the number back, then punch in your number when it says, "Enter your number at the tone, and we will remove you from our calling list in 2 business days or less."

National gun riffle company my husband like a fool joined them years ago and now they won't leave us alone we have told them not to call us again they lay off for awhile and come back i just removed our number again by calling pressing 1 and then it gives you the info and then to add your number to take it off the list.
