Just got called and didn't answer - I never do.  Blocking!

Got a call from this number last night no one answers.

No message; hangup after answering machine message finishes.

Its from the National Riffle Association

These people just don't give up, about the 4th or 5th number I have blocked from them. I blocked my number and called back and a recording said National Rifle Assoc. not just NRA. Since I let my membership expire, it's been none stop 6 to 7 days a week including the Memorial Holiday weekend, that's beyond ridiculous. Sent 3 e-masils to them asking if it was them....no response. Some how magically  at the same time my number made it out to all kinds of spam / scam callers. It has been worth getting caller ID and a $60.00  1000 number call blocker, now my phone doesn't ring once when they call, I just see the idiots on caller ID. No more memberships NRA, don't care how noble your cause is. If I want to contribute, there are other ways to donate.    

Same here, called from them constantly at all hours; my most recent was at 0442 am. that's just about enough to make you crazy.  The sad part is....I'm a damn life member of the NRA and still get this as well as other calks asking me to renew my membership....isn't that the point of a life membership "SO YOU DONT HAVE TO RENEW" starting to lose my patience with them even if i agree with their beliefs!!  

It's a company calling for the NRA to ask if I want to upgrade my lifetime membership. I'm getting really annoyed with them. They send me mail constantly asking for money and now these phone calls. I answered by mistake too.

All you paranoid deadbeats who owe money, its NOT some collection agency called "National Recovery Agency" - it is the National Rifle Association.  Just call the number back and hear them answer.  If you are afraid they will see your number, then use *67 first then the number.  Dorks.

first off,, these calls  ARE NOT FROM THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCATION,,ive been called by these people many times as you all have here,, today I got a call, a woman said it was about renewing my NRA membership, for another two years,   when I told her I was a life member, she said,,oh yes I can see that??, then tried to sell me a golden life membership, for 280.00,, I laughed an told her you are NOT  from the NRA,  and hung up,,also if you should call this number back, you do get a NRA message, what these scammers have done, is to record a real NRA message, and are using it as their voice mail, so you will think its really from the NRA, next time they call you,,

Hey stupid, sometimes it's a telemarketer and sometimes its companies like comcast that refuse to cancel service when asked and then keep billing you when you switch to uverse and stop paying their sorry [***]. Not every call from a collector is legit and not everyone who "owes" money so to speak is a deadbeat. I'm getting these damned calls too and I've been an NRA member for many years. When you call them back it's a recording. Lastly, *67 does not always work and with our service it's an extra charge to have that ability. A charge which....until recently....I haven't seen the need to pay for. But thanks for being a rude, incompetent, insulting, prick you freaking loser!

It's The "NATIONAL RECOVERY ACT" (NRA) NOT THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION. They are misrepresenting themselves until you ask for more info, they have absolutely no association with the NRA that we are more familiar with other than to give them a bad name.

It's the NATIONAL RECOVERY ACT (also known as the NRA). They are misrepresenting themselves. I have received this call at least 20 times AFTER TELLING THEM TO STOP.... They are telemarketers NOT associated with the National Rifle Association, just another group that uses the same letters.

Just to be clear on this. They claim to be the NRA. They are misrepresenting themselves, they are the NATIONAL RECOVERY ACT, NOT the NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION. When most hear NRA they automatically think rifles. While arguing that I am already a member of the NRA (I also thought they were the National Rifle Association the way they said they were from the NRA) they explained that the NRA is not associated with rifles in any way and they are the NATIONAL RECOVERY ASSOCIATION... That's when I requested to be removed from their list and threatened legal action if they continued.

It's not the National Rifle Association. It's the National Recovery Act.
