Me - 22 Nov 2007I've been called about 4 times from this number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I would think they'd leave a message if it was so important to call me multiple times. I googled it and I found nothing on it. Two days ao I updated my voice mail greeting to say "if you're a telemarketer, please remove me from your list, I do not make any purchases over the phone." But I guess they hang up before the beep. I've been scammed twice by telemarketers, I'm not about to get scammed again.

bella - 24 Nov 2007I got the same call 5 timesso I called back and there was a voice recording on money saving and they give u a choice so I pressed 2 and it cancled me from the list.

The phone companies are the ones selling our phone #s to these idiots to generate more income. I got so fed up with unwanted calls that I cancelled my landline service with the local carrier in 04/05 and never regretted it.

I forgot their are some Great Perks like Coupons .50 Cents off Pre Packaged Meatballs and things like That. If they call Answer let them get out Half their spew then Simply Say no thanks but I think your Mama is Interested are simply Slam the Phone down in Their Ear, They most likely will leave you alone at that point. Rachel - 6 Feb 2008I just received this call a moment ago. I got the same speech but I could only get a few words of what they were saying because they were speaking SO FAST!!! I told her a couple of times too not to send me anything but she refused to listen. They have all of our personal information including our CREDIT CARD #. The infomercial we bought off was the "SAMURAI SHARK "..knife sharpeners. I will NEVER buy off of an infomercial again if this is what they do with our information!!!

Rachel - 6 Feb 2008I called the 866-280-4252 back and was prompted to press 2 if I wanted to be removed from the internal Do NOT call list. They also give you another Customer service # to call 866-434-6600. I called this # and spoke to a Carol @ Quality Resources. I explained that I was just called by the 866 # and was spoken to an extreme rate of speed that I didn't understand it all. I caught the $40 gas card, the $1.00 billed and $19.99 there after. I then told her that I've never bought off of them so how in the hell they have all of my information is just wrong. I told her that I said to them that I didn't want them to send me anything and she refused to listen. I told them that I do NOT want anything sent to me and I will NOT be billed for anything. She told me that she will look at my phone # file and will cancel it out. IT appears that it was pretty simple to do a cancellation. I'm going to keep any eye out on my banking statements.

unknown - 26 Mar 2008the same lady(carol) just called me and i pretend i was someone else and i asked her what was the purchase and she told me it was confidential and started to get upset and saying well if you're not her i will call back later!! i hung up before she could say anything else. i had just purchased something from wal-mart.com and i started getting a phone call from this lady but i knew it was a trick because another 866# called me a week earlier telling me all of my information but wouldn't tell me what i purchased.

your not very bright - 5 Jun 2008its only 20 dollars after the 1st 30 days, and anytime as soon as u get the envelope and day 30, you can cancel and only be charged a dollar. so you pay a dollar to get the savings and cancel as soon as you recieve it if you want, and keep the 40$ in gas no matter what. do the math its only 1 dollar

I noticed that I started getting these phone calls after making this purchase. Also, I was able to infer from the operator/caller/telemarketer that the information they have on file was provided to them by an infomercial. ITV's MIRACLE CLEANSE was the only connection. Besides, I returned the Miracle Cleanse without trying it due a very low rating on a website that rates intestinal cleansers.

I called 866-434-6600 and spoke to “Carol” who says she is with “Quality Resource” I asked where they got my information from. She said the company she works for purchases a list from a company where I made a purchase from via internet or TV.
The only place I made a purchase from via internet is NewEgg.com so I contacted them via live chat…

I asked her how I could be assured that I would note receive any more calls from this telemarketing company and/or be sold to another company thru the current company and/or affiliates of this company. She took my number and said she will put me on a do not call list and that it will not take affect for 72 hours. So I gave her my number and I probably screwed myself by doing this…
This is down there with affiliate marketing (you know shoot the monkey and win win! win!!)
Its good to know the FTC is available and has hefty fines for Telemarketers when they catch them

karmi - 7 Jun 2008I have been getting calls from that dumb number too and called it back and pressed 2 to be removed if they call me again I have the right to press charges. So if you asked them to stop calling or have pressed the 2 to be removed they can no longer contact you. When you are purchasing something from on line I would use a fake number. You can always call them back if there is an issue.

Same line....they got my info and the last four digits of my credit card?? from an informercial purchase. I was very angry that my credit info was released and abruptly told them that I was not interested and that NO charges were to be placed on my credit card.
The woman backed off on the phone and started saying all she had access to what the last 4 digits. Now I am going to have to watch my statements for bogus charges.
