- linds| 15 repliesI received a phone call saying I had won a cruise to the Bahamas valued at $2100. I asked for the woman's phone number 1 866 282 2640 and her name in order to see if this was a scam. It was for the Toscana Village Orlando.

- Lia replies to linds| 10 repliesI also received this call...sounds very interesting. They want to put through a $99 fee on your credit card to reserve your vacation/cruise package for $698 for 4 people for 11 days....All you have to do is sit through a timeshare presentation for Toscana Resorts.
I asked if I could mail in a cheque or think about it and call back and that was not possible, so I declined.... - Charles replies to Lia| 7 repliesI also cgot a call offering a 2K+ vacation for a 99$ down on a credit card. Is it a scam??? Where can we verify this?
- karine replies to Charles| 1 replyThis is a scam plain and simple do not trust them... They called me up and did the whole 99$ for a trip that cost3K things to watch out for if you ask for a number to reach them and they dont have one its a scam... I know i work in a call center... Please take my warning into consideration before you send anyone money...

- Eric LST replies to mario kappnerI also questionned myself about this offer. On top of it, the reservation made a mistake and charged the full amountof the package instead of $ 99.00 .The difference was fully refunded to me without problems . I also spoke to Daniel and he was profesionnal. They even call me back . Definetely, the 4 nights stays in Orlando is at the Toscana resort .Daniel explained at they want to attract people to buy time shares during the presentation at Orlando and book futur vacations with them .However, there is no obligations The bookings are subject to avaibility. It is alway the case with hotels. You have the option to upgrade at any time. IF you want to see if the resort is legitime : Type
quoi de neuf in Orlando 2006 ( troisième édition), It is the better business bureau of Orlando. - nicole replies to Lia| 1 replyI also got a call from Toscana village. I accepted but it was
only after getting the receipt of purchase that I realized it was a time sharing scam. I have been trying to reach them for more than a
week to be reimbursed and have not been called back. I was told I could
take any part of the vacation in any order depending on availability.
This seems to be a scam. BEWARE! - ERIC LST replies to nicoleI had no problems calling them. Toscana are not only timeshares but also vacation resorts around the world

- Sonicben replies to linds| 1 replyBelieve me this is a scam, they will send you coupons and promotions for 99$ U.S. For example, you get 2 free nights on a cruise but there are hidden fees. Air fares not included, etc. So even though they tell you, you won something you are just buying a reservation... They also charged me 40$ for absolutely nothing without permission. I am sending a letter from my lawyers and reporting them to our consumer's protection agency here in Canada. They won't get away with my money. I am always suspicious, can't believe I got scammed! If you want more details sonicben@hotmail.com
- ericlst replies to SonicbenThie is in reply to sonicben. The toscana resort is paying for the cruise.
They clearly state what they are not paying. - becky27this company is a fraud do not give them any of your credit card details as they will keep taking money out of your cfard and you will not get your money back. my friend got done for £700 we live in london so we have no way of tracing them but we are reporting it to police

- bd| 3 repliesI got called from this number offering the whole vacation package. Fee of $99 up front and then $50 per month for 12 months for the remaining vacation balance. I received the package and then decided to cancel my purchase. I then was informed there would only be a refund of $50 and a penalty of $50 which to me was unacceptable. I am waiting for my refund and have not been able to contact anyone at the resort in the last 2 weeks. I have left many messages and specifically for Daniel Collins and still am waiting. Seems to be a scam.

- Rick 75 replies to bd| 1 replyThis is a scam. They initially took $698.00 instead of $ 99.00 without consent. When I complaint they wrote a new package for $ 498.00 and some monthly payments to correct their mistake they said. They promessed to refund the difference within 14 days. I required them to send me an e- mail showing the new package and a promess to refund the difference. I was lucky to get it since they beleived I would maintain the package.I was starting to get suspucious since I was not getting clear answers when I was calling them. In order to protect myself I asked the credit card company to put a stop on my credit card. That way you are fully protected
since. They did not refund anything until I asked the credit card company
to go after them. I obtained the refund within 24 hours since I had a very good proof from them. Afterwords I changed my credit card. I also received the package by mail. The package they are selling has nothing in it: Not a brochure of the Toscana resort, no names of hotels in orlando and elswhere but only tons of conditions. The offer by e- mail should not be signed as it is the provide them your acceptance of the package and not to garantee the cruise. The promotion is run by an independant company
DO NOT TRUST THEM - AlexSame thing here, same issues been more than 14 business days , n still no remboursement, and they never sent me a confirmation of anythings, now im trying to dispute it with my credit card compagnie, n they have no lead because they need info on them. All i get is busy phone lines n answering machines.
- marycarmen replies to lindsand what happened? Did you have to put a down deposit...did you receive any more news on it?
- JD| 1 replyTrust me people this is a scam. I can provide you with boat loads of information if you'd like. They will continously bill your cards without your permission, and don't have any real interest in fulfilling the vacation for you. If you'd like more information provide an email address.
