CCB Collection Agency. They left  a message asking me to call back.

Returned their call - they couldn't find me by my name, my city, or my telephone number that they have been calling day. They asked for my social security number - ri i ight. After repeatedly telling them if they call me every day they must be able to find me by my phone number, they finally did.  Ends up they had the wrong person - different middle name.  If you don't owe anybody money - call them back and clear it up. If you do then somebody's found you - pay them back.

Have received many calls from this number.  Message is always, "If you are not (name), please hang up.  Different names asked for.  Latest were Lisa Butcher, and Edward or Lisa Butcher.  We have received calls daily for the last few weeks.  We have and answering machine, so of course we are verifying we are that person, when it picks up to answer.

I found out who the caller on your website

A female transfered me to a male after I told her I was on a do not call list. I told that man I was on the do not call list he said it didnt apply to them. I told him this number was not Calebs number and he said did he have a cell number and I said not to my knowledge send him a letter  and do not call my number again after I have told someone from this number not to call me any more it was my number not calebs. He said "how will you invite him to Thanksgiving dinner?" I said "Im not inviting him to dinner. And the man hung up on me.

Keep getting messages on our business answering machine. Called back to tell them to not call anymore, employees aren't allowed personal calls. Lady told me she took our phone number out of the database. No sooner than I had hung up, they called again. I once again called, talked to a Ms. Bottoms and told her we can't accept these calls, they cost us money, quit calling. Told me she didn't even show this number in their files, nothing she could do about it. Told her we'd contact our lawyers if this didn't stop, then she said very rudely, "you have a nice day" and hung up.

Received an automated message from this dumb company when i picked up the phone.....I called the number back, and the lady who answered refused to identify herself or the name of the company.....she was super rude!!! all she could say was "let me transfer you to the person who called you"......CLICK, i hung up, as i am not the person they are asking for. They need to get a clue.

I just relocated and received this new phone number. What happens? I begin receiving calls from this CCB number that I owe a debt. I can't even undertand the caller that left a message on my answering machine because it's an automated answering machine that leaves the message. I believe that the message is for me, because the message leaves my first and last name and a phone number to call back...however, my first name isn't even listed with the phone company, only my last name. Kind of strange.

Same story.  All they have to do is put my phone number into a reverse look-up, and they will discover that my wife is not the person they are looking for.  There are a lot of deadbeats out their with my wife's first and last name, and they all wind up with us.

I was told they got our number from their client.  CCB (though they told me it was CBB, and I asked several times).  They told me they were in "central illinois", but would not give me their address.  I suspect this is the company:  http://ccbcreditservices.com/  This company is located in Springfield, Il.  Who knows.

Called several times looking for Robert Earl or Herble (one or the other, I am not fluent in computer generated speech). They leave a fairly long message stating if you aren't Robert Earl or Heble to hang up then goes on to say to call the number. I have admonished my voice message system for not hanging up. When I called I spoke with Patrick> He stated he needed the reference number but after 4 messages my voice mail didn't have one. He stated that he had no such number in the system. Then how did they call?

So I unfortunately receive calls from different collection agencies because a guy in the past used my social.   It was resolved, but then a few years after he did it again...which opened up a huge can of worms.  Most companies I've dealt with have been very friendly.  They tell me the company name and who I'm speaking with for record purposes, until I called this company back.  They refused to give me ANY information.  They were incredibly rude and disrespectful.  They wanted to protect this guy's privacy rights...WHAT ABOUT MINE???????  Because he's used my social sec. number in the past, these collection agencies type in his information in their crazy database, and mine pops up first....have the time they don't even have his info....oh, and if you call these companies back on your cell, they put that in the database....I learned that when they started to call my cell!  How ironic that this company is located in Springfield....where all this mess happened!!  UGH!!!!!!!!!  They better not call again!

Repeated computer generated calls from these nitwits for a person I had never heard of. Called back and talked with a guy and told him my story(cell no. was assigned 2 years ago.). Told him that if calls continued, I would file a complaint with the FCC. WE'LL SEE!!

I just starting all of a sudden receiving calls from an unavailable# on my cell phone, usually they never left a msgs, today they did stating they were calling from ccb also stating my full name & by accepting this call i am confirming it's me, I owe no one, haven't returned the call yet but they left a return #800-473-7994 telling me to reference another #when calling, any receive calls like that

I keep getting calls from this company asking me to verfify my information. I ask them to verify their information, which they will not do.  Apparently they are calling the wrong person, but after repeatedly telling them so they continue to call.  This company has also called my cell phone.  I did a credit report to make sure no one had assumed my identity, but nothing appears on the report so I assume this is a fraudulent caller attempting to gather my personal info.

I have received two identical calls, one at the company where I perform phone receptionist duties and the other at my home.  In each call, a recording says they are trying to reach Beth Enoble.  This is obviously beyond coincidence - I presume it is a code name to categorize the call and respondent.  When I respond, they say they will take me off their calling list. On the second call, I asked what company this was and they refused to answer, other than that it was a private company in Springfield Illinois.  They said it was a private matter with Beth Enoble and it was none of my business.  I told them I was on a no call list and I would pursue the matter further if they called back.  At that point they abruptly hung up on me.

Call about a debt supposedly for my daughter-in-law.  I called and they asked for her number and I told them it was unlisted and I would not give it to them.  They said they would just keep calling me if I refused to give them her number.  I called my daughter-in-law and they called this number and were told they didn't have an account in that name.

These people are something else!  I spoke with someone about 2 months ago when I finally answered it one day after getting so many "Unavailable" calls it was ridiculous.  They are asking for an ex-daughter-in-law that I haven't spoken to in over a year.  You wouldn't believe some of the stuff this girl has done to our family and these jerks are calling me constantly thinking they're going to get info out of me?  I have no idea what she's done nor doing. These idiots know this. I have already had four calls in the past 2 HOURS alone.  They call sometimes 8-10 times...a DAY! These people have absolutely no business harrassing me whatsoever!

They keep calling and I told them no one by that name at this number and they still keep calling

female voice on prerecorded message stating that if you are not the caller identified then hang up. the message stated someones name who i have no idea who it is. the calls keep coming, relentless. I finally called the number listed by them 8662880436 and informed them if i get another call i am reporting to authorities.  Does no good.

This business has called my number off and on for several years, asking for a Todd Penrod - a wrong number.  How do I get rid of them?  I am on the do not call list and if I call them, they have a right to harass me with other phone calls.  They're calling the wrong person.
