Recv'd voice message from "Diane Foster" at this number.  She says my husband entered an on-line contest for a Dodge Durango and his ticket entry has been seldcted as a winner!   My husband wouldn't have any idea how to enter anything on-line.  Nor did I enter an on-line contest...   Will call just to see what's what.  It  doesn't SMELL right to me!

I got the same call today 9/14/12 from Diane Foster on my answering machine.  She knew my full name, address, and phone number.  She told me to call 1-866-288-2780 and talk to Prize Director ASAP so I can receive my Dodge Durango that I won from an on-line entry.

Same thing message about winning. Durango. Knew some info was asking for more. I told him sounded like a scam.  Said his name was Melvin and he is Bill Russell's assistant. Also that Destination Travel was the company sponsoring sweepstakes.

I just got a phone call fron that number. Sounds to me like a scam! I'm not even bothering ...

Looks like this site is making it tough for you crooks to steal money on the phone. We already knew that, but it's reassuring to hear it from you scammers directly.

Got a call from Simone McCall.  Landline # 703 349 0680.   Looked it up and was able to get a map to the location in Vienna, VA.   It's a weekend so Bill Russell is out of the office.   I didn't enter any contest and they didn't say who they were other than 1st and last name.

We got the same call today as well. Called Bill Russel back, left my phone number like a stupid fool, then googled the number. Our caller ID also says it originated from Vienna VA. Smells like a scam. Wont be answering the phone anytime soon

Well i got a call too from Christina Lee, she was Bill Russell's assistant. I either won a Dodge Durango or $25,000 in cash , a trip or $2,500, or a laptop. They were sending my packet in the mail 3 weeks ago. Still havent gotten it. Called back twice and left a message for Bill Russell and havent heard anything..... BIG WINNER...... NOT

Received a voicemail stating I won a Dodge Durango. Caller knew my nameand address. Advised me to call 866-288-2780 to claim my prize. Called the number and left message with Bill Russell. His "assistant" called me back within 2 minutes and gave me same info from voicemail except she knew I was married. While on the phone I was Googling the info she was giving me and each item came back with "scam" links and reports. She told me I had to go to East Coast Travel to pick up my prize. When I Googled them I found that they are a scam business selling time shares and they keep moving from state to state and changing their name. I advised the caller of this and hung up. Luckily I did not give her any information about me or my family.

Sure you did. Sounds more like you are in on the scam.

I got a call from1-866-288-2780 who said she was Chrine Lee and left my name and address stating the contest to win a Dodge Durango was completed but I won a prize. I never enterred the so called contest - would not take a Durango if offerred .I live in Cary, NC

Same message left on my answering machine as everyone else.  However, the first original caller had a 919 area code; I'm sure it was spoofed.

As far as the scammers knowing names/numbers, it's easy to get that from any phone book

File a complaint at www.donotcall.gov.  Use the 866-288-2780 number, the caller ID numbers are spoofed.

Has anyone actually attended one of these things?  Ours is for Premier Travel on Warrenton Road in Fredericksburg VA.

I received the same type of call from a woman saying I had entered a sweepstakes to win a Dodge Durango online...I went through a spell of entering those for a bit, so I wasn't sure whether I had or not. But I have already been scammed once by Waka Network, So I was leery. She told me to call 1-866-288-2780 and to speak to Mr. Russell and he would give me details on the one of four prizes I had won...I did call the number where I got an answering service saying "Hello This is Mr. Russell, blah blah...please leave a message with your name and contact number and I will get back with you asap" I just hung up.

Same message and info. Guy named Melvin Hall left me a voice mail on a Sunday night! He had my name and address. Said I'd entered a contest for a new Dodge Durango, and I was a winner. Said to call 1-866-288-2780. I never enter any contests online. Sounded fishy. I didn't call back. (Looks like they have targeted NC lately.)

They must be using the Cary Nc phone book today.  Same call.  Same story. And no car.
