CallerID "TOLL FREE CALL"

Didn't answer, they hung up.

Called 6 times in 3 hrs. No message left.

I am on the do not call list and still get these calls!!!

I received a call from 866-292-5365 and I believe that number has called me before.  I am also on the Do not call list.

Left a message. A political call of some type. Independent ..  something or other -- by the time I had signed up to post

to this site I'd forgotten.

This is Independent Voter Research.  They take voter polls.

Called three times in three hours. I finally spoke with a human and told her to stop calling. IVR with survey questions. First, stop bothering me. Second, NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! The "do not call" list should apply to everything. We don't want to be bothered with your B.S.

I get calls from number usually on the weekends.  they call and call and call.  If you answer, they get even more persistent.  Very annoying

Called 3 times in 1 hour.... 3rd time answered. no one there... Would love to know how to stop these kind of calls...

Voter research garbage. Basically political spam. Check out the latest T-Lock call blocker and program 866-292. Likely the last four digits will rotate/change. Works great. You might get a half of a ring and that's it. I get a vicarious thrill from punching the "blacklist" button when these show up on my caller ID. You will too! My language is English. Nothing serious to reject there!

How to get these people to stop:

1. Get a good voip service (I use Voipo)
2. Login to your account
3. Find the number of the telemarketer in your call history
4. Have the voip service automatically route all calls from that number to a gay porn hotline
5. Enjoy the silence

Get Ooma VOIP. They have a blacklist feature that you can had the number to and choose what the caller will hear or get; constant ring, recording that number has been disconnected or caller is sent straight to Ooma voice mail.

Thy are trying to profile you in some scam!

Robocall that left a truncated message asking for the callee to press touch tones to indicate agreement or not with an unknown topic.  

Another political survey. I've been inundated with these things the past few weeks. Asking me who I'll vote for in the election for SOS then my thoughts on Obamacare. I could only vote on one that I didn't like instead of all five.
I did ask exactly what IVP stood for.

Someone called me using my own caller ID and I didn't answer the phone. It's called Caller ID Spoofing and they can make up anything on the Caller ID now. So it's getting to the point where you can't trust the caller ID on your phone anymore. I decided to get an unlisted unpublished phone number and the scam callers drop by 90%. Don't give out your phone number unless it is necessary, because companies or other organizations sell your number to telemarketers.  

These people have called four times in the past two hours. When we picked up to answer after the fourth time they hung up on us. This is likely a political call because we are on the Do Not Call registry. If they don't quit calling we will report them with the FCC. "800 Service" on the Caller ID.

I received a call at 10:30 am, Thurs July 10th.  One of the strangest calls I have received.  A man was obviously trying to talk but there was so much distortion on the line that I did not know what he was saying or if he was even talking in English.  In the middle of his spiel, a woman said a few words that may have been my name but again so distorted I could not tell.
