- RichardGot a call from 305-224-1254 asking to call this number (866-295-9370).
Impossible to understand the name of the company. - arlenethis number just called my former inlaws in N.J. I am in NH.
- Caller: DRS
- paralegal1931| 6 repliesThis number is a collection company called Pinnacle Recovery Systems and what he says on the call is PRS as indistinctly as possible. The caller calls himself J. Allen Smith. They are located at 2774 Gateway Road, Carlsbad, CA 92009 so send them a cease and desist letter. They do collections for Timeshare companies.

- Lisa replies to paralegal1931I got the same call about an hour ago.. The caller showed they were from Tulsa Oklahoma.. 866-295-9370
Said her name was Sharron and she works for PRS.. Then hung up on me.... - DarryI repeatedly receive calls from this number, leaving voicemails from J. Allen. I don't know what they want and I will not return their call. I just want them to stop. As noted by paralegal1931, I've never owned a time share so I don't know why they would be contacting me.
- Caller: PRS
- CommonSensical| 4 repliesThis is listed as the call return ("office") number of J. Allen Smith with DRS and associates, who wants me to return the call about a very important and personal matter. "It's obvious at this point that someone needs to return the call as soon as possible." How someone can call my voicemail, leave a message with some strong verbiage and not identify who I am or the nature of the matter that needs to be discussed frustrating, especially when I've never been in any kind of debt and I applied for my first credit card yesterday. Forget time shares lol I don't even have a car!
This is the first spam call I've gotten in about a month after a 3-month-long string of random-number auto-dialer calls (at least one per day), some numbers of which were also linked to DRS. Guess I'll have to file another complaint with the FCC...- Caller: DRS
- Call type: Debt collector
- CommonSensical...discussed *is* frustrating...

- Caller: DRS or PRS
- Jessica| 4 repliesI received a call from a local number. I didnt recognize the number so I didnt answer. The unanswered call was followed by a voice mail stating an individual by the name of Jay Allen Smith from the company "DRS" was calling me about a very important matter they needed to discuss and had my number as the number of contact. They never said my name or anyone's name for that matter. I owe nothing to anyone as I am debt free. Ive had the same number for 6 years. Im refuse to return their call
- Caller: "DRS"
- frustratedI just had a message left on on my answering machine from a man who identified himself as J Allen Smith from the "offices of DRS" with a stern inflection in his voice that my number was provided as a contact phone number and someone needs to call him right back regarding a "very inportant personal matter." The contact number was 1-866-295-9370. I found it interesting to read about the background information linked to this call back number. I have no connection to any timeshare and have a stellar credit history. So, I wonder what is really going on here. Sounds more like "fishing" for personal information to me than any legit collection agency.
- Caller: Ofiice if DRS
- Not surprised. Not Happy. replies to CommonSensical| 1 replyThese people have been calling me for something like two years now. I am in the same boat you are. I am not delinquent on any debt (nor have I ever been). In my case, I have had *several* debt collectors calling my cell phone and one of them let it slip who they were looking for (by the way, Ashley Collins, you're a scumbag).
With this group of DRS thugs I have already called them and explained that I (a dude) am not Ashley (a chick) and that I have never met or known Ashley. They cheerfully said that they would remove my number. And for about 6 months, I finally had no calls from DRS (still had others calling, but not DRS). Then out of the blue, BAM, back at it again.
There is obviously no point in calling them back as they won't actually stop calling you (a wrong number). No point calling the FCC since 1) they don't care, and 2) if someone gave your number for credit then they technically have a reason to call since they have "business" with that number (even if not with you). They should stop after being informed that they are contacting the wrong number, but they have not done so for me. I doubt they would for you.
Just ditch your phone number or be prepared to block every new phone number DRS comes up with (I think I have a list of 6 or so for DRS so far). Don't get your hopes up. It WILL NOT stop... - annoyed x 2I, too just got a call from this company. I attempted to call them back and was placed on hold for extended lenths of time. So, thanks for the commnets.

- Billie| 2 repliesJust got a call from this number. Since I don't answer the phone unless I recognize the number calling, I let it go to vmx. The guy didn't even say who the message was for so, I just deleted it. Until they specifically say who they are calling, I will continue to delete the message.
- chosenbaby| 1 replyI just recieved a phone call from Joe Allen Smith with a return # 1-866-295-9370. This guy was speaking to my answering machine like he was a drill sergeant. Scared the &%*# out of me! I don't own any timeshares, I've got really good credit, my taxes are paid. Is there a way I can report or block this number?
- Caller: Office of DRS
- Jesse| 1 replyThe guy said he was with the office of J Allen Smith regarding a "very important" matter. I seriously doubt this is a "very important" matter and won't be calling back.
- Caller: Office of DRS
- KAPraeg@aol.com replies to paralegal1931Thanks for the info I will be sending them one right away. Now sure why they are calling they found my cell phone number as well as home . No cool !
- DisapointedInSociety| 1 replyGot a call from this number from "Jennifer Seagall". She left a frantic voicmail. Acted like it was an emergency call for a family member in distress. Said she needed to have me call back ASAP (760-247-0176) Very important, like it was a life or death situation!!
Turned out to be a collection agency seeking another party using what she thought was a creative way to get someone to call back.
FRAUDULENT and UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR!!!!
I wonder what these people's mother's would think of their line of work.- Caller: H4B8

- StarkCtyGuy replies to DisapointedInSocietyI received this message an hour ago. I called back stating that I don't know any J. Allen Smith and that I don't have, never did have, and never will have a timeshare. Their agent said, "Sir?" Then I replied..."I am J. Allen Smith's boyfriend. He should know better." Then he hung up on me.
- JVG| 1 replyI received a call from this DRS J Allen Smith and said it was very important. I decided to google the number to find out who or what they were and found all these other complaints. They need to quit calling phones at random.
