how do I make it stop?

I finally answered a call from this number.  They identified themselves as Dial America.  Calling on behalf of Sirius Satellite Radio wanting to renew my subscription.  Offering a special offer to Ford/Lincoln/Mercury owners.

Agree.  My Sirius Satellite contract expires this month, no wonder they are calling.  Good info.  Thank you.

They call repeatedly- leave no message, and they hang up when answered.  my 6 mos free with new Ford vehicle is over so I think they are calling to get me into a commitment.  Also recently received letter from Sirius about expiration of free service period and need to renew.

Yep, same here. Free Sirius service in my Dodge Caliber ends in December and they've been calling like crazy all month (November). Just got the letter this week. Sheesh, people, I'll get to it on my own time. How did they get my cell number?! I don't answer unknown callers on my cell.

They keep calling looking for a Robert Williams to reknew his account, if you know him please let him know LOL, I've never had sirius radio but seeing how much they call I know I never will either! .. They give a phone number of 1 888 440 4197 for you to call to be put on thier do not call list, which I did today, guess I'll have to see if this works =/ Good luck everyone

This number keeps showing up on caller ID. They never leave a massage or answer when we answer. I want it to stop!!

I completely agree with you all. I recently quit my job at dialamerica where i made the phone calls all of you are complaining about lol. I apologize i was just doing my job.. but the system that we used to stop calling people that didnt want to be called sucked big time. it took forever to process so i talked to angry customers like you all the time. again im sorry

Constant calls from 866-297-6863. Dead air when answered. A lot of calls every day. They do not leave a message either. Usually dead air followed by a click - disconnect.

866-297-6863. Sirius Radio/Dial America. Constant calls with no messages left. Call 24/7 all hours of day and night. I don't even subscribe to Sirius Radio and now never would.

I too have been receiving renewal calls daily this month due to my free 6 mo subscription from Ford Motor Company ending. I told them I was not interested in extending service. Today I phoned the number Teresa gave on 10-Nov-08 to opt out 1-888-440-4197 (Thanks Teresa). It took me 3 tries. The automated service kept saying they are sorry but the number I dialed from is not recorded in their system. Hmmm...wonder how is it they keep calling this number then. Finally being persistent, it accepted the number and said I would be taken off their list. We will see...we will see.

have filed a complaint against who ever this is... I receive the same call twice a day - for the last 2 months. Here is the form from the FCC to file a complaint.

If you will call the toll free number back, you can request to be added to their DO NOT CALL list from the automated options.  I've been a user for 4 years and the past week is the only time I've ever gotten calls.  It is because my subscription if up for renewal in 2 months.

I don't have Sirrus or own a Ford or a Lincoln or a Mercury. I guess I will answer the call next time and tell them to remove from their list. They shouldn't even have my number because I put it on the national do not call list. Thank you all for the information.

It does not matter if you are on the national do not call list. For some strange reason, they still claim that that can call you if you are on the National Do not Call list.  You have to answer the phone and tell the person calling do not call me again. The representative is suppose to enter that information. It does not always happen.  It would be worth a shot.
