No idea why I received a check from them - Tom| 8 repliesReceived a check from a company called XPRESS SOLUTIONS and the phone number on the check is 1-866-301-4656.
No idea why I received the check and I cannot get anyone to call me back from that number. - Frank P replies to TI own a check cashing business in California. Saw one of these checks today. I strongly suspect a scam wherein the company distributes bogus numerous checks to strangers with some kind of storyline that he or she can keep the funds and just mail back a pertial amount of the money.
- dswan replies to Tom| 7 repliesit's a check from an internet gambling site. they send them out when you request a withdrawal from your account.

- mirka replies to dswan| 4 replieshow do you know is for gambling ?
- Golf Dude replies to mirka| 3 repliesIts definately from a Gambling site..... My friend requested a withdraw from a gambling site and it came from Xpress Soutions and the check was from a Canadian Bank
- jellymean replies to Golf Dude| 1 replyAre they real checks, or fake? Has your friend cashed them?
- Sketch artist replies to jellymeanGot a check for a large amount from SP solutions, same number. I have gambled online but I keep track of my winnings. Don't remember this one. This one was delivered FedEx with signature required, and the only thing in the envelope was a very official looking check. It is for a large amount (to anyone not expecting a check,) and it is from HSBC. I checked the routing number and it's accurate. Any ideas?
- NickI got a check too. These guys confirm that it is a scam!
http://www.discussny.com/showthread.php?t=6878 - snake replies to Golf DudeI got a check from them from winings from Bodog. Was the check good?
- V.P replies to dswanYep, it is from the internet gambing site Bodog and if you win money you ask for a withdrawal and it comes from Xpress whatever and then..here's the stupid catch, it takes at least 30 days for the check to get into your account because the bank is actually in Canada. But it does come, with about $30 missing that either their bank or your bank takes because they have to "work so hard" to get your check cashed. We got two checks that way.
- judyc| 1 replyYou guys who think this is a scam are quite wrong! It IS from Internet gambling. Mine was from a bet I made on the 2010 Superbowl game, where the Saints won 31-17. I requested a paper check and it arrived two days later (today) by FedEx. It was my first bet and win and they grant you one free transaction per month. Mine was exactly the amount of my winning.
I do agree that they should somehow identify it better, but then maybe some gamblers appreciate the anonymity of it, with only a 'traceable' phone # as a reference on the FedEx mailing label.- Caller: SP Solutions
- JeryZ replies to judycRemember guys it's still illigal to gamble online in America. This is one way around the law. That's why it's so mysterious.
- houdniMy credit union cashes these checks without issue. They are from a Canadien Bank but are HSBC United States checks. The amount of numbers in the routing number on the check determines if is a US check or Canadian check. There are always 9 routing numbers on a United States check. Canada has a different am0unt of routing numbers.
