Collection Agency

"Jason" The caller leaves a message about a settlement and that I need to call before he makes a decision.  I believe it is a Collection Agency.  The calls are annoying as they call several times a day.  They also leave a file number and mention that the are from FRS.

I believe this is a collection agency.  I get calls too with a file number.

Ditto on the collection agency scam. When I asked for my wifes social they were way off. I wonder if they are phishing for something?

Received a call from 866-304-0566, They left no message but have called from various other numbers as well. The name FRS is Financial Recovery Services. They practice in buying old charged off debts and trying to collect on them. I have threatened them with harassment and asked them to prove the debt which seems to stop the calls temporarily. These people are utterly ridiculous and trying to collect on debt that is not valid or cannot be reported on your credit report any longer although they claim they are looking at the credit report and see the debt on the report, they are in fact full of it. Don't give in to these people, they are scumbags!

They called several times at 6:30 a.m.  When I asked "Richard" if I could please have his home phone # so myself and everyone else I could think of could call him, he hung up

Caller ID shows 866-304-0566, caller gives case number and asks to be called back at 877-475-4984.   Turns out it is a collection agency, trying to collect a debt of my son, who has been dead for over 9 years.

I got a call from 866-366-0566 at about 8:00 A.M., When I called the number back the female ansered "Hi! this is Amy." I asked Amy who then she asked me who she was talking too.

I again asd who I was talking too and she said "Amy". I asked her Amy with who. She said if you'll give me more information.....I cut her off by hanging up the phone. I thought it was Law that collection agency's had to identifiy themselves when they call?

Received voice mail from " Hi this is Dan Michaud returning your call- give me a call back at -- then a uninteligible number"  I called the above number back and got "Hi this is Michelle, can I help you"  Michelle wouldn't identify the company I was calling and I ended the call.

Calls repeatedly trying  to drum up a collection from many years ago. extremely rude when talkin to them in person.

They call me repeatedly everyday trying to collect on a debt they say I incurred years ago.  Threatened me with Garnishment, and that they would continue to display this "bad debt" on my credit report.  When I asked for original documents proving the debt they said no.  If this continues I will report them...but to whom?

Call 3 times in a row for someone that doesn't live here. Called back and told them that.  Hope it works

Been getting calls from 1-866-304-0566. Tells me to call back to 1-877-479-4127. They will not say Co. name. Just FRS. Reported it to FTC (Federal Trade Commission). Every one should do that. FCC gave me this #: 1-877-382-4357.

Someone I know got a call from 1-866-304-0566 and the message said it was Officer Barkley from the Kershaw Police Dept.  They gave 888-852-6018 as the callback number.  Luckily, the person that received it thought it was bizarre to have a toll free number for a police dept.  I called both the Caller ID number and the number they asked to call back at and neither one was a police department (big surprise).  The person I spoke with at the callback number was quite rude when I asked why someone impersonating a police officer called and asked to me to call back to that number.  He said "Oh you must have misheard .. they probably said 'Mr.'".  Of course, Officer sounds very different and when they added Kershaw Police Department, that's pretty unmistakable.  The person saved the voice message and is now chasing down the proper authorities to report it.  Impersonating a police officer is a HUGE offense.  Looking forward to burning these people.
