      Yes, me too and don't know what it is. I am deputing it with my card company. I did try calling but got a answering machine.

      I also got a charge from Harry Dean @ 800-572-5389 in FL. on 12-13-07 for $8.99 as well as one from this Eureka number in NY.

        Got two charges on my bank statement from One Harry Dean. $8.99 one last of November and one First of December. Tried calling got answering machine with a message that made no sense....Have reason to beleive that this is a scam. Contacting my bank and credit card protection agency I belong to along with the North Carolina Attorney General Office and Florida Attorney Generals Office along with the Better Business Bureaus of Both States.

          I just went to the bank to clear a charge by "Harry Dean" for $8.99.  Thank goodness for online banking so you can catch this stuff so quickly.  I have canceled my current credit card account.  But how did they get it in the first place?

          After reading all these message regarding this scam and the "Eureka" scam, I am amazed that they are still out there in the same form.  You would think that some government agency would have caught up with them by now.  Is there any place other than the credit card bank to report this?

        We got this Harry Dean charge last April and again this month.  Both times disputed it and got it reversed.  Credit card company said since it was below a threshold, they normally don't attempt reversing against originating company.  They said this time, they'd mark it for fraud investigation.  Be sure to tell the credit card company when you call...you absolutely want it marked as fraudulent and not simply as 'unrecognized'.

        I just found this charge on one of my debit card accounts - dated 08/15/08.
        So these scammers are still in operation - and getting away with it!!
        I'll dispute it on Monday, but I don't use this card to pay bills online so i don't know HOW they got my cc #.

          you don't need to do it online. bj's wholesale just announced recently that a hacker stole numerous card numbers, and i just got a charge of 8.99 from a company called "harry dean". after doing some research, i found that bj's had a problem going all the way back to 2004, and this still happened. i think i'm going to cancel my membership there.

    This number and the name Eureka was on my credit card bill I received 11/2707. The charge to the card was made 10/30/07. I reported to card company and put amount in dispute.

    I am on the phone right now to dispute this with my credit card company.  I have a mysterious charge for $8.95 on Nov 12.  I did a google search and it led to a website called eurekainfo.net.  This seems like a complete scam to me so I will also be contacting the FCC and whomever else handles this type of thing,

    I also have a charge for $8.95 on my checkcard. I am about to dispute it. Could it be some automated scam that hits so many people with a small amount that nets a large sum?
