Called me on my cell phone.  Didn't leave a message.  If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  If it isn't important enough for them to leave me a message, it isn't important enough for me to bother answering it.

Have received several calls from a recording that states they are a collection company.  They provide this toll free number and they provide an ID number to use when calling back.  I don't know who they are, and I don't have any outstanding debts.  So I haven't returned the call.

Same deal, no debts outstanding and these guys keep calling 8-830 in the morning.

Call every morning from 8-830. I do not answer unknown numbers. I read the posts, Have no outstanding debts and am totally annoyed by these calls.

had this # call a few times, finally called back and some company called transwall systems, debt collector.

Same thing happened to me and I did't have any outstanding debt. I called them finally and they kept me wating on the line. I hung up after 20 minutes.

Got one call this morning.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize or say unknown caller or toll-free calls.  They left a message and when I went to see who it was, at first, there didn't seem to be anyone there.. I listened and then all of a sudden I could hear these people talking (like maybe they were talking to others on the phone,  Then, whomever had my line, just whistled and snapped his gum and hummed till the recording ended.

Don't have a clue to whom it might be, I'm sure if anyone was looking for me- I've been right here.

I must admit, at least it put a smile and chuckle into my day.  I am sure that will change should I continue to get these calls.  A happy camper I will not be

Called at about 10:30 EST, left a message. What sounded like a recording said it was a debt collector, asked to be called back at (866) 307-0239 and said I should ask for Wendy Higgins.

Called cell phone at 11:55 am est. today. Did not answer cause I didn't recoinize #. The did not leave message. Guess not important.

Since I have no outstanding debt they would be collecting against, I have since blocked their number through my phone provider.

Get several calls a day on my cell. No info as to who/why they are calling. I don't have any debts, so I just ignore them. Admittedly, it IS annoying.

Keeps calling at about 8AM. Very Annoying.

This number started calling my cell phone last week.  They call around 8:30am every day.  Their message is the same as stated in previous posts - It's Transworld looking to collect debt, they want me to call Wendy Higgins.  I have NO debt, I just checked my credit report to make sure no one opened an account in my name and everything is fine.  Surely someone can take legal action against this company?

I'm receiving the same thing, same name to call back. I also am unaware of any debt, this is so frustrating.

I do have a recycled phone number, do any of you? I'm wondering if that could be a reason, since they don't say my name in the recording.

I'm also one of the unfortunate Playstation Network users, I wonder if that is related - are any of you?

debt collector...they said return the call to Wendy Hagan 866.307.0229....whoever that is

Got a guy claimed to be named Phillip Veon who said I have a a debt from a city that I don't live in for services rendered.  When asked what service that would be he couldn't explain what it is.  I never got any bill or anything from this city and he claims that the city made numerous attempts to collect from me.  He has info on this and yet he can't say what was the reason for the debt.  Maybe we can all make money if there's class action lawsuit.  Why not bug back the buggers?  The all came from 866 307 0229 but he said his direct phone number is 888 201 8088.

I had this number call me while I was at work saying he was calling from federal Inst.?? provided 2 file numbers and one number sounded like a call back number ... THESE PPLS ARE SO ANNOYING!!!

This caller shows up on the caller ID as "Toll Free Call."  I have a Uniden phone which allows me to press a button and the call is blocked.  No mess, no fuss
