They called and hung up when i answered. Not sure who it is. I called them back and it was a pre-recorded message saying to wait and someone will be with me. When a person did pick up, they didn't say anything other than "this is so and so.." I didn't respond.. "this call is being monitored and recorded" I hung up. Maybe they'll call me back... and not hang up this time!

They've been calling on and off for days. When I picked up, there was no one there. Finally I called them back. Got the usual "this call is monitored . . ." They asked for somebody who isn't here, said they were Allied Interstate, a financial institution, and that they were calling about a "private financial matter." Obviously I didn't give them any information. A called back a few times and each time got a different person. I asked them who they were, and got the same name. When I asked why they were calling me, they asked for my phone number. I told them they already had my phone number, it was the number I was calling from, which was not blocked. Like robots, they kept asking for my number. I called the scumbags and hung up.

Allied Interstate (866-310-3882) has been harassing me for weeks. When I answer, no one speaks and after a few seconds they hang up. These calls come in the evening hours, afternoon, and very early morning hours. I even called this (866)number and was put on hold. After thirty minutes of waiting, I hung up. I have contacted my phone company and my lawyer. After my investagation is complete and, being a man of some wealth, I will press charges and sue these individuals to the highest limits of the law.

I got calls from this number for about three weeks, mostly in the afternoon.  I never answered since I did not recogize the number.  They left a voice mail claiming to be a debt collection agency and asking to call them back. Today, I got a call at 4 a.m.  I don't have any delinquent loan.

This company is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. Sloppy record keeping, failure to validate at every level, under-trained, uneducated collectors SEVERELY lacking in Fair Debt Collection Practices Act training.

Intellirisk must be making BIG bucks in collecting because they sure don't spend it to insure they comply with the laws. Student loans with these idiots is a nightmare. Most Allied collector's don't have a clue in handling even the most basic of consumer complaints. Loans that have been paid, in the wrong names and outdated credit bureau reporting are fast targets for lawsuits because Allied is unable or unwilling to respond.

If you receive a collection notice from Allied DISPUTE IT! Even though you will never receive a reply, it is important that you use the law to your advantage. Allied aptly fits the saying; "the right hand hasn't a clue what the left hand is doing" Brain-Dead! Idiots! Untrained!

This number keeps calling my cell and my house phone. The few times I do answer they hang up on me and the rest of the time I let it go to voicemail they never leave messages. I finally spoke a to a very rude lady. i didn't give her any info and i asked her to stop calling and she said that until she speaks with person she is trying to reach she is going to keep calling!!!

They are debt collectors.  When I asked what company the rude 18 year old was calling from he hung up on me.  I called them back and told them he violated federal law by not telling me, that the random guy they were calling for didn't live here and that I was represented by an attorney.  My name is now removed from their database, supposedly.  If you actually owe them money, make them sue you.  90% chance they cannot prove that you signed a contract for the debt they say you owe.  Judges tired of these people.

This number had been calling my cell for the past 2 months, I never answer it.  I don't answer any un-identified numbers.  This number had called my cell on not only from Monday to Friday, but also Saturdays and Sundays.  It calls at any time and many times a day.  It even leaves messages, but not speaking at all, only breathing sound.  I called them back and tried to find out who they are, but all I got was a recording message.  I don't owe anyone any money.  I am considering turn this case to Houston's District Attorney Office?

they called and i asked who they was and the guy was really rude and hateful. he would not answer my question. my husband took the phone and got rude back and they said he was from allied interstate. he was still rude and hateful even more with my husband. they are more of harrassers than collection agency. i had to look up allied interstate, after hanging up with him, to find out who and what they was. they even asked for social security number. wanted me to give it to them over the phone.

scam/fraud alert: 1-866-310-3882 claiming to be a collection agency harasses you to make a "one time repayment offer" on a bogus past due account.

I have been getting calls from this number for days at stange hours of the day like 6am 11pm. I never ansewred the phone due to it being a 866 number. My husband ansewed the phone this morning and the women asked for someone named Kim, he said no body by that name lives here. The women said "you don't know her eather? he said no and hang up the phone.  I looked up the number under yellow pages on the net and the ansewer I got back was on such bussiness.

When I answered the phone, he asked for my husband, by his legal name and not a name his friends and acquaintances use, so I asked who was calling. The man was very arrogant. He repeated he needed to speak to my husband. I asked "what about", and he said "about a private business matter". I told him that I am his wife and he could talk to me about any "business matter" he had with my husband. He replied, "only if you can give me the last four digits of his social", to which I replied "No, I will not" and he very rudely replied, "Then I guess I will just call back later". Then the message, "this message has been recorded", and I hung up.

Don't waste your time talking to this trash.  You'll get nowhere, even if they have called in error.  They'll still keep calling since for them this is just a numbers game and are unconcerned with telecommunications law.  

When they cannot call you using one number, they'll just start calling you from another one of the many other numbers they use.  That makes them hard to stop.  Although they really did call me in error at this new residential number, since I answered the phone on the first call they now know that there is a real person who lives here.  They had the audacity to try to argue with me when I told them that they have a wrong number.

I have reported them to the FTC and attorney general in my state.... just one of many complaints they have on file.

Called at 1:18 pm central time on 12/17/09.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

this company called 12/22/09 @ 1031, again on 12/23/09 @ 1835, again 12/24/09 @ 0803 and again 12/28/09 @ 1125.  the very first time i answered and got a recorded message when i said hello twice.  if you only talk one time the recording doesnt kick in, but i caught on really fast.  now i just let it go to voice mail and they never leave a message.  they had called before 12/22/09 & i deleted their number, wish i had it now for the date.  when i returned their call, it was a recording, i hung up.  this really irates me big time, i owe no one any money, very good on my bills and also on the govt do not call list.  i just dont like being bothered with crap like this.  seems like they dont have any thing else to do with their time, wish i had that much.

asked for someone other than myself.  When I said they had the wrong number, the woman became rude.  Did say her name was Patricia, then when I again said she had the wrong number, she then asked if I knew the person she was asking for.  when I said no, she said the call was being recorded.  I think you are supposed to say that first.  I have previously told people from this number that they have the wrong number.  I keep getting told they will stop the calls.  This lasts for about 1-2 weeks and then starts up again.

They call, don't speak for 20 seconds then ask for someone who I do not know.  They are told they have the wrong number and then hang up.  What ever happen to callers who identified themselves when you answer the phone.  What has this world come to when people do not even have enough manners to introduce themselves when entering your home....even if it is through the phone lines.

This company has called my cell several times now. Today they called at 7am and did say anything when i answerd. I have an 11 month old child and they woke him up. I really wish there was something i could to make them stop.
