Mohawk - 6 Mar 2008Just received a call today from etours and travel giving me a trip for 5 people to the Sheraton in orlando and also Daytona beach universal car rental and coupon towards airfare all for 98 dollars. I refused to give my credit card number over the phone to someone who called me, they kept saying I could call my charge company and they could cancel, I said no, they put someone else on the phone, I asked why Universal since they kept saying they were calling for Disney Timeshares and that is there comeptition, they stated. oh you filled out a Universal thing online that they were referring to, again then why Disney? They said if it was a scam they would have to scam a lot of people to make money since they were only charging $98.I eventually said not interested, and the supervisor said "Thanks for wasting my time." I said same here, my time is just as precious. The number they gave me was 866-897-2756. They called my cell from 866-712-7285

Paul - 16 Apr 2008Answer the phone and ask who it is, then politely ask them to stop calling you. It is a lot easier and faster than ranting on the internet that someone is calling and not leaving a message. If they call and they get an answering machine it is the same as you not being home. As a kid we used to knock on someones door and run away just to be mischevious. It wouldnt have been any fun if no one was at home. When a call calls and gets your machine, the caller would have no reason to beleive you are there looking at the caller ID and getting pissed because they are not leaving a message.

Pat - 16 Jun 2008Sounds like the best way to handle this - however it does not work. I know, because I have tried it. Told them to stop calling me. Two weeks later the calls have started again. It is getting to the point that I am going to report them since my number is on the Do not Call registry.

Carl - 31 Jul 2008Yeah, For me they were a Magazine Subscriber and this is the second time this month that two different "phishing" scams tried to get my information. They also said that i had the chance to win in a sweepstakes I have never entered before. They tried to make me tell them my credit card number. That's when I said "have a good day, Goodbye". This just happened a couple seconds ago. Don't fall for it, its a fraud.

Discounted Travel to FL...hitch: 1-hour visit with Time-share. Relentless to the point of obnoxious. "No" is not an option. Eventually hung-up.

S.L. - 27 Jun 2007The company is called ETours and Travel Inc. They have made over 32 calls to me in a matter of 7 days to inform me that I signed up for a trip to Orlando that I never signed up for. I have asked on 5 different occasions for them to remove me from their list and they have not done so. I have recently filed a complaint with the better business bureau and if that doesn't work I will be filing a harassment suit. I suggest you do the same because the calls won't stop.

anonymous - 3 Jul 2007i received the same phone call. they reported they were a travel agency and i won a trip to universal studios. i was unsure of where they received my email phone number. they stated i filled out a survey which is untrue! not sure how they got my number with email address

Tired of this - 9 Jul 2007These people call me daily, sometimes more than once. Drives me crazy. Obviously, we are not protected through the Do not call list for these guys.
