- Shelby| 5 repliesI do not even have a Wal Mart Discover card, they keep calling my husband's and my number, early AM even on weekends, and end late evening, it is my stepson's account, he isn't working now - I am tired of them calling, and if you answer they either hang up or get rude with us - how can I tell them to stop calling OUR number and bothering us??????

- Unhappy replies to pitdogK9PThese people don't even stop when you are with a debt management organization. They call and insist that they didn't accept the proposal when you have it in your hand. I am tired of their calling when they get the amount they accepted through the proposal each month on time. Its amazing that when you are trying to get back on your feet they still try to knock you down. I hope they never have the problems that happen or better yet if they do they get treated in the same inhumane way.
- ec replies to ShelbySince it's not your debt (and even if it were your debt, this option still applies), get their address and send them a letter telling them that they are repeatedly calling you for a debt that's not yours. Then inform them that they are to cease all communication with you and that you'll pursue legal action against them if they fail to comply. (Federal law requires them to comply with your request.) If they contact you more than once after receiving your cease communication notice, then they are in violation of the law and can be sued by you for monetary damages for each violation. Just be sure to send your cease-communication letter sure to them via certified US Mail with a return receipt request.

http://www.consumercounselgroup.com/ - HotdogThis number called my work and left a message. Thy did not leave any personal information about me and what it was about so that was good. They just said is was personal. I did not like them calling my work because we are not suppose to have personal calls of that kind here.

- Not Tammy S. Alaliey| 1 replyReceived incoming call from 866-314-9507 today. English-speaking man came on the line and asked to speak with a "Tammy S. Alaliey". I asked him to spell the person's name. Then I asked him where he got my telephone number from (I have had my phone number for over 9 years). He answered, "I can't give you that information." To which I then asked him why his company "robocalls" telephone numbers looking for particular persons since I have had this phone number for over 9 years and I didn't know who "Tammy S. Alaliey" was, my number is on the American "Do Not Call List" and I demanded his company STOP CALLING MY NUMBER !!! The man replied that he would "take my number out of their system" and claimed the calls would stop. Man REFUSED to identify his company and told him his refusal was a violation of US federal law. As for "Tammy S. Alaliey," I hope you get arrested and incarcerated for using other people's telephone numbers to avoid paying your bills, B***H !!!!!

- himselfI called the phone number on my paper statement, talked to them 10 days ago. These clowns are still calling they call starting at 7:45 am and stop at 7:30 pm...I sent in a payment 10 days ago. i admit I was late with the payment. We went out of town on business we left a couple of days before the payment was due. I usually mail out my bills on Saturday mornings, We left our out going mail on the kitchen table(forgot to mail them) we were gone for 6 weeks on a business trip. I am still receiving calls I just got off the phone with GE Money Bank about this. One department doesn't know what the next department is doing. The bad part is that they show I am not late or behind as of last Friday. They say they will take care of it bovine excrement!!!

- FrustratedThis number calls my phone repeatedly every single day and never leaves a message and when I answer no one is there and then it hangs up. I have never even spoken to a person on the other line. I have started to ignore the phone calls now but the phone they call is a business cell phone. I do have a Walmart credit card but it is up to date with payments and I haven't been late on paying them at all and I always pay more than the minimum amount. So I am quite frustrated with this! Is this 100% coming from Walmart? I assume so from everyone's posts, I will try to send a letter as was suggested earlier in comments. Thank you, good luck to everyone!
- LINDA CUCCIA HENSONKeeps calling me. Left no message.
- Caller: WALMART
- MarcieThese people keep calling me - at least 3 times a day. They never leave a message. I finally called back to see what they wanted/who they were tonight, and it's the Wal-Mart Discover Card company. The recorded greeting told me that I had reached the payment center for that credit card.
I don't have one of those, so I have no idea why they keep calling.- Caller: Wal-Mart Discover
- Think Before You Speak (Or Blog) replies to Not Tammy S. AlalieyI received a phone call from this number. No message was left. Approximately two minutes after that, I received a phone call from a person I had no idea even existed. I was accused of the same thing, using someone else's number as a reference. After explaining to this person that the call was probably from a collection agency, and then telling this person that I received a phone call from the telephone number mentioned in this blog (8663149507), this person told me that with a bit of reluctance, the caller identified himself as John, and the accent was very obviously thick and Indian (From India). When the call receipient asked John from WalMart how he got the phone number, John said that I put it down as a reference contact, which is a total case of [***] de toro. When John was asked what number he was really trying to call, the call receipient was given my number. How this "John" got my number, I do not know. The call receipient told "John" that the phone number he called was ownd by the call receipient for the last 16 - 20 years, and that "John" or anyone else from WalMart should cease and desist, and WalMart would be sued if there were ANY further calls. I apologized to the call receipient, and gave permission to the person to call me again if a lawsuit is filed, and if I can be of any help. DO NOT BE SO QUICK TO CONDEMN SOMEONE YOU DO NOT KNOW, ESPECIALLY IF THEY PROBABLY NEVER COMMITTED THE ACT YOU ARE ACUSING THEM OF!!!
- DanyelThis phone number has called me 9 times in the past 3 days. I've answered twice. Once to a chinese person. Another time to a girl asking for my address.
- S.ClauseCalled 3 time on 10/31 - left no message. I refuse to answer toll free calls
- S.ClauseCalled the 4th time on 10/31 at 5:43...this time I put it on the speaker and it was a voice generated notice that my wife had a past due bill and this was a call that was to be used for a collection agency.- waited and no one ever answered after entering the * for a rep...another way to get scammed, especially when there are no past due bills in this house.

- E.R.O.Getting a Wal-Mart Card was the BIGGEST mistake I have made in a long time. I got the card in September of 2011 and purchased about $300.00 worth of Electronics from a Wal-Mart in IL. I got my first statement in October and paid $50.00 ON TIME. Then the craziness started. In November I was 1 day late mailing my bill and the calls started coming! They would call at 7 am and not stop until 10 pm that night. And that went on every day Monday-Friday. Also Weekends! And the thing is they wouldnt leave a specific message. All that was on my v-mail was...."A representative will be with you shortly". Thats it. Probally leaving about 10 voice mails a day. then in december i paid 2 times to try and get caught up. my balance was down to under 100.00. they still called! even today being the 30th and 10:45 in the morning they have called at 9 am and 10 am . my payment was on time for december, yet they STILL call. Very annoying and Im very aggravated at Walmart card services!
