10 calls in a few days. I called back the number and the recording said "Bank of America Insurance Services". Why would BOA call us? The recording gave me an option to opt out of this type of calls, but it said it will take up to 30 days! Got a call from them today again. Annoying!

Bank of America insurance call did not answer the 1st 30 times they called so finnally answered and told them i was not interested...  Also called the number and choose the option to be placed on the BOA do not call list of course they said it would take 30 days...

Have been called over 40 times. Have told them 4 times to stop calling that I am not interested.  Have tried to call number back and get open ring.

Repeated calls through out the day and night.
Am on the No Call List, so how is it that they keep calling?  This feels like stalking or harassment!

I've just filed a complaint through the Do Not Call Registry website (www.donotcall.gov).  Hopefully if more people complain, the fines will cause them to stop.

Remember that if you do business with BofA or any other company they can call to solicity you for new business and its not considered harrassment.  This is the case even if you've registered on the donotcall.gov website.

  Ok, harrassed by BoA or any other company you do/have done business with? We're Americans so we have several choices: these 3 come to my mind above the rest:
 * Of course, register with www.donotcall.gov websit.

 * Join up and support, even volunteer to change the laws on getting any company you tell to quit calling you, outlawing them to call you; how about collecting 1/3 of the penalities when they do call you again/ bug,call,email your state/federal representative(s) to change the law(s).

 * Put on your big girl panties and endure this and work your tail off to get these changes done; then you can complain about it; instead of whining before you do the work.

Bank of America Insurance Services wanted to sell me insurance.
I'm already on the National Do Not Call list, and filed a complaint.

BOA has called my home for 12 days straight with regard the time they call. I have also repeatedly told them we are not interested in their insurance services but they keep on calling. I am also on the National Do Not Call list, we still getting calls.

What annoyed me is the solicitor would not tell me the company name.  I identified BOA insurace by coming to this site.  I registered on their do not call list by calling the 866 315 7101 number.  It will probably work for awhile and then another dept of BOA will start calling and interrupting my evenings.

I have entered a complaint about them as well. I requested they take me off their call list and the woman who called hung up on me before I could even finish the sentence. They have woken up my baby and my entire family calling at off hours!

My husband and I are severing all financial ties with BoA. I don't want to be associated with a company that does business that way.

Called a few times and called the number back and it was to someone else.  He said I must have dialed the wrong number and i told him no I called it back off of the caller ID.  I will file a complaint for this and I will block it with my caller id.

I received a call today and decided to look up the number and found everyone's comments here. When I myself *67 the number and called it back it rang once then clicked a couple times and I was diconnected. I will file a complaint with NDNC Registry I guess.

Every day several times a day for the last month or more i have received calls from 866 315-7101.  I tried calling the # back, it rings once and then clicks and hangs up.  The # shows up on my caller id only as TOLLFREE NUMBER.  I answered the phone awhile back and told them I wasn't interested and I was listed on the DO Not Call registry.

See, the law, as it is, works like this: any one any company has ever done business with can always call you especially when you're registered on any Do not call List. Simply because having done business ever, at any time, past or present, with you. They can legally call you.  How about accepting their insurance and filling out the paper work total incorrect then sending it back in to them. Maybe they'll get tired of this and quit any effort in you.

I beg to differ with you.  Even though you do or have done business with any company does not mean that they can harrass you.  According to the Do Not Call Registry, if you tell the company to stop calling you, they HAVE to stop calling you.  

I tried to file a complaint on the Do Not Call website but it came up with an error:  

YOUR COMPLAINT HAS NOT BEEN ACCEPTED
We cannot accept your complaint because the company phone number you entered and your registered phone number are the same. Please verify the company phone number and reenter the complaint. Thank you.

Bank of America has somehow fixed this to make it look like the customer is trying to file a complaint on themselves.  I have emailed the webmaster at the website to find out what is going on.

I have been getting calls from 866-315-7101 for over a year now, ever since Bank of American bought out MBNA.  I no longer use that account and have not done so for over a year.  I do not like Bank of America and will never do any business with them.  To me, they are underhanded.  I am going to email my state representative and my state senator about this.  I doubt anything will be done, but I am going to try!

I have seen this number several times on my caller ID over the past 6 months.  I answered about 20 minutes ago, and the female caller asked for my spouse.  I replied that he was not home and asked if I could take a message.  She said, "Thank you," and promptly hung up.  This seemed rude, but I wonder if telemarketers are supposed to immediately terminate calls when the intended party cannot be reached.  That would be just fine with me!
