This number just called saying my husband agreed to pay them $79/month for direct sales and since we havent paid we owe them over $400!! Ladies name was Susan who said she would take us to court. Well, if this company exists, see you in court!

This person keeps calling saying I owe an invoice since 2008 for a directory that we advertised in. I have never authorized an ad with this co. Also I have never received an invoice from them. They did not know the name of who they were calling. They asked for the manager. I told them this number was on the federal do not call list and they were breaking a federal law by calling. They said they would continue to call every day until the invoice was paid. We are very careful to tell every telemarketer to take us off their call list and that we do not authorize anything with them.

Just got a call from this number.  Said something about closing the account.  When i inquired who authorized this account and how much it was to renew she said $495.00 per year.  I indicated that we have never paid that for a listing on the internet she put me on "hold" which ended up in her hanging up on me.

Have received several calls from this number. They do not identify their company name. They claim I have been listed on their website since 2008. I explain each time I never authorized any such listing. They claim they will be sending me a bill for the previous service years. I tell them I will not pay any invoice as I have never authorized my company name to placed on any website. They they change tactics and ask "do you want your name to be removed from our website?" I explain again I never authorized any such listing and will not pay any invoice. At this point the caller hangs up. During one contact the caller thought he hung up but I was still on the line. As I listened I heard him talk to co-workers about his plans for dinner. After 10 minutes of listening I heard the man say OOPS! and the line disconnected.

Rec'd call from this company asking if we wanted to continue to be in their listing, or if we wanted to cancel the account.  She said that her company was United States Directory.  She had the name of our owner and said that he authorized the listing and she needed an address to send the bill.When I asked for proof that our owner signed up for the service she hung up on me.  When I try to call the number back, the call will not go through.

Received a call from this number at my business today.  She told me that they were canceling our listing in their online directory and that I would be received a bill for $493 for services rendered last year.  When I told her I never authorized their service and asked what exactly their online services were, she laughed and hung up on me.  I tried calling the number back, but was told that the number I dialed was not in service.

I got a call from that number this morning on my Google Voice number. It didn't actually ring through to my cell phone (kinda weird), I only knew about it because Google said I had a voicemail. There was only silence in the voicemail recording so I guess they hung up.

These jerks keep calling our place of business.  We are on the do not call list.  I thought the DO NOT CALL LIST was supposed to take care of people like this.  This is obviously a type of 'fishing' scam where they occasionally get some fool to send them money.  I thought we had highly paid elected officials, bureauocrats, and law enforcement officials to stop criminals like this!  Why do we put up with this crap?  Why can't our grossly overpaid overlords find these people and put a stop to this?

We just got a call from 866-330-9068.  The lady said she was with the White Pages and that we owed $480 to cancel the account.  We put her on hold for a moment and she hung up on us.

This invalid number has called several times. I usually don't answer calls like this but since they seem to be so persistent on calling, I finally answered the call. This lady came on and says she is from "Exchange pages directory online" and she told me that it time for renewal and I told her that I have never been a customer. She said, "Well yes, ma'am you have. This is Kathy, is it not?" I confirmed that it was and she told me that we have been a customer since 2008 and  I could cancel my membership if I wanted. So I again told her that we have never done business with them, she interrupted me to say that a one year membership is $499 and I told her that I didn't want any part of her scam. She told me her employer was legit and that it was not a scam and I told her I was going to report the company to FTC and she said "You just go right ahead", then I hung up on her. I would never be able to have a job like this where you are knowingly trying to scam people.

We have been scammed by this company as well, they keep calling and harassing us about some online advertising that we did not authorize. Claims to have a tape, but refuses to send it to me. They presured us into setting up a payment plan of $99.00 per month. I sent a payment and then put a stop pay on it, it's been over a month and they keep calling asking for our next check number for the 2nd payment. They are not even aware that the first one was cancelled.  I keep requesting the information to backup the claims that we authorized this, approx 2yrs ago with one yr. free. We have disputed this each time she calls, and now via email the lady has accused me of being a liar, and as of this morning is saying I must be feeling guilty about something. She also says "She has the tape, what more proof do I want?" I want the tape!!!!!!  I have printed out all of her rude emails and sent them to the attorney general for review.

Finally someone willing to look into the business practices of this company.  I reported them to the States Attorney General here in Alaska.  They informed me that Telephonic Solicitors have to be registered with the Dept of the Law at least 30 days in advance of soliciation.  This company is not registered.  It is a Class C felony to solicit telephonically without being registered. Unregistered telemarketing is also an unfair or deceptive trade practice under AS 45.50.471.(b)(35) and carries with it the potential civil penalty from $1000 to $25,000 for each call they make to Alaska.
United States Directory has been warned and is instructed to send me an invoice with a 0 balance for my company. They also are instructed to refund any person or entity in Alaska for a product or service using the decribed deceptive practices immediately.  CALL your STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL and help get these folks shut down.  It's a total scam!!!!

As stated in all above posts; I received a call from this number with a lady Telemarketer asking, "would you like to renew your online business to business listing with us"  I asked, "where are you from?"  She said we are an online directory you have been advertising with us for two years.  While explaining that I was the only authorized person to approve such advertising and have NEVER approved any advertising with them she became rude and insisted that someone named Joe (not an employee in my office) authorized said advertisement.  She said, "so discontinue your listing with us?  We will be sending your final billing to the contact information we have on file." I told her there is no Joe here, I am the only person who can authorize advertising, I did not authorize said listing and I will not pay the invoice you are sending."  She began yelling at me at which time I hung up on her.   Who is this and what is going on?

I got a phone call from United States Directory, they explained that they had received a letter from the States Attorney General, and would be sending me an invoice showing a 0 balance and would remove me from the call list, as well as all of my information.  The man was actually nice and informed me that "Jade Simpson" was no longer with the company. I am so happy that the Attorney General followed up on my complaint.  And they will be refunding all vendors in the State of Alaska for money received by them, due to the fact they are not registered with the Department of the Law.

This number called me yesterday, said they were with Quality Control (an advertisement company). They said a previous manager did an agreement with them...1st yr free and second yr. they would have to pay. They said they got authorization that the account needed to be closed. Asked me if I had the authorization to do that or if I wanted to keep the account open. I told them that the account needs to be closed and they told me they need to send me a final bill...$489.00, for service rendered the past two yrs.. I told them that I need to look into it more and asked where I can find their company. He said matter-of-factly, "Extravagant pages.net...what all do you need to look into?."  I told them to call me back today. It was two guys switching the phone back and forth...it seemed as if they were sitting right next to each other. One of them said their name was Dan.
When I got off the phone with them I called the "unavailable" number and it said, "Your call did not go through please try your call again. 113T" I also looked on line and found nothing.
This is such a scam. I pray they are caught.

Just received a call from a woman stating that she was from "Exchange Pages", asked to speak to the manager, and that she had received notification to cancel our online listing. I told her that we didn't have a listing with her. Then she said that the owner had authorized it two years ago. I said she hadn't and I had never heard of her company. She said she would have to check to see who actually authorized the listing. I told her to go for it. She hung up.
Doubt I'll hear from her again, but you could tell it was total scam.
I get something like this at least a couple of times a month, online advertising, toner phoners, maintenance supplies, etc.
The only way these scammers can be successful is if they get someone to take the bait. The only reason they keep trying is because, obviously, some ARE taking the bait. Wouldn't you think that in this day and age people would be smarter about this type of thing?

After receiving two calls from this number to my business, I decided to Google 866-330-9068. I am so glad I did - my suspicions were corroborated right here. Same scenario...no recollection or documentation saying that I signed up for anything from "Exchange Pages". They faxed me an invoice, even a W9!! Of course, Exchange Pages is NOT a company!! It is a "Sole Proprietorship", basically some guy named Derek Somethingorother. Go to www.exchangepages.net and all you find is some cheezy website with a list of unsuspecting (I presume) businesses that you can search through (I'm surprised). All they really do is link your business' address to mapQuest.com. Whoopidee-Doo!!! And you want $489 from me to stop doing that!!???

Please stay vigilant out there folks. We all know it's tough out there...Watch out for "predators" like these "feeding" off the innocent and unsuspecting.

On 10/17/2011 I got a call from number 347-418-0489 saying they were from public yellow pages and saying that we own $489.00 to cancel this account that was put up 2 years ago, but we  never authorize it. In the first place. A woman then got on the phone and said if you pay it now, we take off $100.00 dollars and I said NO. Never authorize it.

Well I just got a call from 866-330-9068. I couldn't hear what company he said he was from. I thought he said direct something, but not 100% sure exactly. He said something about cancelation on advertisement of some sort that was online 2 years ago and I then ask him who is this and there info and he said it will be on the invoice. I told him we never authorize any such thing. He said you heard the recording and I said NO and I told him not to bill us cause we never authorized it in the first place and he keep saying blah blah and I told him give me you info cause I am contacting the BBB, FTC, & and FBI and then of course he hung up.

Call from this # 866-330-9068 exchange pages saying we call to cancel an ad on the internet. Told hime I had never heard of them and he would get back with a recording of us ordering what ever.   Had another company do the same thing Yellow pages online (Just for Free .com )is a scam to......

They called my job too I work for a hospital and they call every single day apparently we owe them 478.00 for cancelling a subscriptiion for phone exchange services on the internet. A bunch of soliciting BS.
