If East Link would take notes from the previous call that we don't want HD TV etc. they wouldn't keep calling.

This call is from East Link Promotions - Nova Scotia promoting their products.

They say they are looking for someone else & after 5 times of telling them,they have the wrong number,they still keep calling & asking for the same person.....

Yeah, I just got a cell phone less than a week ago and almost from day one I started receiving calls from this number.  I know from friends, that you shouldn't answer as it's usually telemarketing firms that really just want to see when you'll pick up the phone.  So, I've actually never answered these calls.

Hey, I've also been receiving many calls from this number. I never answered (only because I was never available to answer). For about 2 weeks I received missed calls from this number. Luckily they must of given up since its now been a few days and there have been no calls.

The one time I picked up, they tried to tell me I won a free vacation! They've been bugging me non-stop for THREE WEEKS. Now I know it's Eastlink, though, I'll soon have it sorted. And here, I was thinking of trying out their new high-speed that they're advertising everywhere. Ugh. Way to put off your loyal customers, Eastlink!

I got a call from this # and then lost my phone for 5 days.  I have eastlink service.  I sent 2 email and spent 1/2 an hour on my cell phone with them.  2 days later they tapped into the little black box they call the mta and 5 min later I had service again.  If it only took 5 min to fix it why did I have to wait 5 days?

Well they're back!!! Five calls today (4 in the last 20-minutes).

Eastlink is losing another customer.

What ever happened to the do not call list?  I added my home number there an still I get calls.  This number has been calling twice a day for the last 30 days.  I don't answer 1800....but it is annoying that they keep calling.  I may also drop East Link if this persists any longer.

They just don't give up!  I've been getting two or three calls a day from this number but they never leave a message. I finally blocked their number.

Now I know it's Eastlink .  I always screen calls, so if they don't leave a message, I don't call back. They called everyday for the last 2 weeks !!!!!  5 times yesterday, give it a rest or leave a message !!

Keep getting calls from Eastlink from this number even after I told them I wasn't interested in free home phone (I have a cell phone anyway). Rep was acting like I didn't understand it was free heh.. free for the promotion maybe until I forget its temporary and get charged for it..

I have been getting phone calls from this number,no-stop for the past 2 weeks.I just start to do something around the house or looking after my children that need my attention and the phone rings,I have to run yet again(3 or more calls a day)THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE!!! I'am sick and tried of them calling,send what you want in the mail instead of bothering people that actually have something to do!!!!Thanks

I have been getting these calls daily for over a week, how do I stop them? It is annoying...

They call upward of 5 times a day to our business phone. No-one there on the other end, just dead air. Total waste of resources...

I have also been receiving numerous calls from this number as well as a couple numbers.  I finally emailed Eastlink that I was getting them and that it was getting tiring.  They emailed back and said that they would be removing my number from all the calling lists but it would take a few days.  Well it's been almost a week and they have started up again.  I'm not happy!  I'm thinking I might threaten Eastlink and change my provider!

Hi Gang, you're correct in that it is very irritating when you pick up on this number and it's dead air on the other end. The telemarketer uses a number originating with rogers communication and EASTLINK IN Nova Scotia, contact them 1-888-345-1111 Ask for their Tiger Tall promotion department on behalf of Eastlink  and give them an earful of grief. They should at least have the courtesy to at show their name on the display of your phone. Remember to be placed on their "Do not Call List" and get a confirmation via email. After that if they continue to call report them to your Better Business Bureau for poor customer relations.
