someone called from this number saying i need to call right away.  don't know who is calling from this number

Yeah so did I!! like 1 min ago....called back and heard a recording in background about a 'lawsuit' filed for 700 something  blah blah blah...sounded like a recording....

I get calls from this # all the time. Must be a scam

Also getting calls from this number. "Tom Parker" and "Michael Lamm" say they have a file on  me and need to verify information. Right. They don't know my name, they don't say what company they are calling from, just leave the same generic message. scam.

Same old stuff.  No name of the company just the first name of the individual and an extension.  Call back right away as we need to verify some information we have on you here in the office.  I would advise not calling the number back as it sounds like a scam to me, especially since they didn't provide a name of the business.  Everybody be careful as there are a lot of scams out there.  Have a Happy Holiday Season and a great 2011.  Bob

I got the same message from Tom Parker saying he need to verify info on a file he received in his office.  Says it about someone I know but he can leave info on voicemail and to call back.  You call back and there's no business name.  They talk about law suit blah blah, then hang up on you when they claim to transfer you to someone.  You get dropped and the line go busy.  I hope I don't get any extra charges or scam plan from calling this number back.  I'm going to monitor this to make sure.

I also received a call from these people and was told to call "Tom Parker" back.  Is this scam national?  I'm in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

I thought it was a scam too, until I got served with a lawsuit by them.  Tom Parker is a process server.  They called a few times and left messages to verify information but I ignored them after reading these posts.  Yesterday I was served a lawsuit by these guys over an accident I was involved in last month.

I'm getting the same message from Tom Parker, unbelievable. this is about the 4 time. Also in Milwaukee, WI

Not sure what this is all about. No company name, just an individual saying they need a call. Haven' been involved in any accidents and all bills are current. Definitely sounds like a "phishing" scam  to me. Called the number and got hung up on too. Name given in my "message" referred to Anthony Hawthorne.

I just called "Tom Parker" - it's a collection agency.  They were asking for more information on a former resident of my house (who moved out, oh, at least eight years ago before we bought the place.)  I don't know who to be more annoyed with - the former deadbeat resident who seems to have every collections agency in the UsA after him, or the scumbag agencies themselves.  I'm in Milwaukee, by the way.

I also got a call informing me that they need to check to make sure their paperwork was correct.  It was regarding "Someone I know" and I needed to call Tom Parker.  I called the number and was cut off when the computer said that I was being transferred.  I'm in Idaho.

got a call from 8663519793  called it back and never got a person to find out what this was about. SCAM!!!

Got a call from this number and Tom Parker said that "he got my file on his desk and there was some conflicting information in it and he needed to verify. It concerned someone I knew but he coul dnot leave details on an answering machine and i was to call him immediately to clear this up."

Just got a message from this guy saying it was Tom Parker, same info as everyone else, that he got my file on his desk and needs me to call back to verify information, yada yada yada... We do have some old business debt from 4 years ago that have not been able to pay on, maybe doing bankrupcy soon or debt consolidation, but I am definately not calling back after hearing some of the other comments.  Thanks!

Same thing happened to me, but the beginning part of the message was cut off so leads me to believe that the caller was a recording - it didn't wait for the beep. Has information about someone I know, but can't leave details, blah, blah.

It's NOT a scam.  It seems that way because they're so secretive when you call them.  The reason is because it's a PROCESS SERVER.  They're looking to sue people that obviously want to avoid being served.  I found out myself after I also ignored their calls thinking it was a scam.  Yesterday, a guy knocks on my door and hands me a court summons.  I'm being sued by my ex girlfriend because she claims I owe her rent money.  This Tom Parker guy works for all kinds of different attorneys.  They find people and serve them with lawsuits.

This number called me 3 times. when i finally called back. It was some Process servicer looking for my brother. My brother is a crook there is no telling why they're looking for him. I hung up. I hope they didnt trace the call!
