We have recently been receiving calls from this number requesting to speak with someone; we cannot recognize the name being spoken so we hang up.

Lately, we have received 1-2 calls per week.

Called in-laws.  I contacted and was told their number was given as a good reference.  They wanted me to verify my wife's SS#!!

Keep calling my job

Someone named Courtney at this number call my daughter's husband's work phone# asking for me. When I called back for this person, some rude guy said he couldnt let me speak to her with confirming who he was talking to?!!

Debt Collector.  Called my home-based business today looking for a person I've never heard of before.

I got a call from this number last night, they wanted me to call the number back, I hung up the phone on them.

Got a call on my unlisted number which is for my summer home and disconnected better than half the year.  Recorded message.  Had my name right.  Said it was an attempt to collect a debt.  Said the name was AFNI or AFNEE.  Did not call back.  No creditor of mine has that phone number.  Is likely a robo-dial scam.

a message was left on my parents answering machine for me about a debt which I am sure I don't have. ( i have not lived with my parents in over 12 years) they said they were with afnee.. seees a bit sketchy

No message left by caller - probably a robotic calling device. The outfit involved is Anderson Financial Network, Inc. (AFNI, Inc.), Bloomington, IL, with a couple facilities elsewhere. Their website makes some noise about insurance and subrogation activities, but their prime purpose in life is still that of a debt collector.

My name is Linda and I been receiving this messages 2 a day.  I already payed all my credit cards and I'm sure they are a scam.  Yes, left me messages differently from previous debt collectors because I already have a real debt collector.  So I know what is the process and the way they sound is freaky.  I will make a police report on this.

Several calls from "AFNI" from this telephone number. Seem ruthless.

Receive phone calls from this number, I am sure I owe somebody something, but I don't know what this is about.

They are trying to fire up their base - unions

Yes, this is a debt collector. They left a voice mail & asked for someone named Zaida, that I don't know, but have been getting calls for, for years. I think the person had my phone number before it was issued to me. Original calls were from AT&T, so I guess this person skipped on a phone bill. This collector probably bought up all of AT&T's old debt. I know this goes back far enough to be beyond the Statute of Limitations in most, if not all States. But some Debt Collectors will never give up.

This number keeps showing up on my caller ID.  They never leave a message on the answering machine.  Finally called the number says it is a debt collector (not sure how to spell it like most people here) afni, acme, who knows.  The name should be Pain In My Tail Harassing phone call company.  When I called to see who they wanted to ask them to remove my number on hold listening to music for more than 8 minutes.  I hung up.
