Repeated harrassing calls from person with south asian accent asking for Mr. Ferguson.  When I asked who was calling the caller stated it was Bell Canada.  I told him that if it was Bell that they should know the number was in my name and provided my surname to the caller as I had on the first occasion.  

Explained on first and last call that there is no Ferguson at this number and that we have had the number for 18 years.

Pressed *67 to create an electronic marker on the line to assist in obtaining a trace of the call and advised the caller I had done so and if there are any more calls I would call the police to report harrassment as I had provided a sufficient explanation of who I was at this point.

Total of approx. 15 - 20 calls received.

Similar problem at former home in Toronto, turned out to be a collection agency looking for a Mr. Fancy, also not me.

I tried a redial on the number and recorded voice said "we're sorry you call did not go thru please try later" .. this definitely a scam telemarket call in my opinion.

got calls 3 days in a row, I answer no one there then they hang up. try to call back
and get a busy line. Today got calls twice in 5min same deal. hope some puts some info up for this number

called 3 times today.  The 3rd time said they were from Bell Canada, (asian voice) and began swearing before hanging up.

This number has called 5 times today ... so when you do a redial on the number you get a recorded voice saying "we sorry your call did not go thru.  Please try later" .. if these calls are from Bell and they want their old customers back again lots of luck.  Won't change back no matter what or how much they offer.

I have been called every 5 minutes since Saturday afternoon,nobody answers when I answer. Tired of this ! How can this be stopped?

Called a few times today already (very persistent) and my phone says called 9 times in total (it is an old phone and only goes up to 9). Number is 1-866-359-1222 and name shows up only as 8663591222. Does not say Bell but I suspect it could be them as they have been persistent as well with calling from 866 numbers that do show up as Bell ever since my building has agreed to a Satellite dish on top of the building. I don't want to switch but keep getting mail from them asking them to switch and calls from them. Since I wouldn't answer I wonder if this is them now calling from a 3rd party number they hired to call and try to get people signed up. Their pushiness only causes me to more than ever say no to Satellite and stick with my Cable service.

Okay Bell Canada said it is NOT them so I am seeing about BLOCKING that number

Bell said I am already on the National Do Not Call List so they are adding me to the Internal Do Not Call List.
