I have had 4 calls from 866-360-1448 in the past 5 days. I have a pay as you go phone and choose not to answer from anyone I don't know. Does anyone know who or what this is?

I just dialed the number. It is Telus.

Just recieved a call from this #....I also do not answer 800 #'s....the call went to my voice mail, I picked it up after and the caller left a 4 min blank mssg but I could hear talking in the background as if it were a telemarketing office. I then called the # and it went to Telus but it wouldnt connect me after it said...for english press 1.

Obnoxious calls at all times of the day - In never answer. WTF?!?!

I hate it when Telus calls - Its a cell phone!! Stop the freaking courtesy calls, they are not appreciated!!!

This # called ; as Telus; not sure who they were, talked to my wife... she foolishly gave them her SSN and DL# as part of what she thought was a a credit check. She was convinced they were Telus. I convinced her to give me the phone and hung up and turned the phone off.

I am sick and tired of them calling every single day sometimes twice a day.. and then I have someone on the other end who keeps referring to me as sir - even after I have corrected them... tired of being harassed by people who cannot speak English.... enough is enough

I hear ya!  They're driving me nuts too.  I should just call them back, say ten times a day, see how they like it.

I understand a company doing courtesy calls but calling my cell 6 times in one day is excessive and annoys me to no end. We've gotten multiple calls on our land line as well.

I don't know who this number belongs to, but I just received 2 calls in the past two days and I have a pay n talk with telus as well.  Who is this?

I just called the number from a land line and it says it's Telus and to press 1 for english.  Usually telus contacts with a text message.  This is horse puckey!!

We are getting obnoxiuos calls from this number as well, multiple times per day!!!!! Never any messages left and just wont stop. Like most of you have said, its a cell phone, stop calling it...

I am receiving numerous calls from 866-360-1448 to my cell phone.  I have not answered any of the calls due to the 866 prefix however, no message is ever left and these are becoming a nuisance.

I will cancel all calls and change to another service if these calls do not stop.    I will go to Fida or some other service   I want this to stop NOW

I also have a telus pay as you go phone and have also just received a call from that number.. 11am call during the weekday.. uh yeah telus.. good call.. think maybe im .. oh i dont know.. AT WORK? I dont answer numbers i dont know and didnt this time either but ffs Telus give your collective heads a shake

I just called Telus Mobility in Alberta about this. Apparently they are investigating this as a fraud. They assured me it is not Telus what so ever..They said..do not call the number or talk to them. Glad to hear they are doing something about it..tired of this number jamming up my cell phone 6 times or more a day.

6 calls so far today, starting at 8:45am and calling again every 1/2hr  WTF?? hoping someone nails these buggers

For the love of god, this is a SCAM.
They just copied Telus' intro message so it sounds legit when you call them. They ask for your personal information and say they will give you a free phone in return -- upon contacting the REAL telus they will advise you that they have no offer like this going. Nor would they phone you just to double check your SSN#. Don't give anyone this info when they call you, just say you would rather go and do this in-store.

It sounds like they are calling from India. They had my name and they have been calling every day twice a day. Finally answered today and told them to take me off their list and this man says, I have a script from Telus I have to follow then I will take you off our list. I said I know this is a scam so stop calling. "No, no it's not a scam" God how long until they stop. Is there anything we can do.

I also have Telus Pay as you Go and they know my name. Don't like that at all.

it would seem we all have pay as you go phones, if this is a scam were our #'s along with info sold or stollen from telus?
