Got 2 calls today, and they ask by first name. Who and what is this?

This number has been calling 3-4 times a day for several days, and the one time I answered a guy said, "I have the wrong number" and hung up.  Who and what is this?!

I have been receiving calls for the past 3 days.  I will not answer.

Got a call today and when I answered there was silence then a dial tone.

They are a real company.

This company keeps calling me as well. I have told them I am not interested but they keep calling. I had previously looked into affiliate marketing (posting links online for money) and the company that I talked to discussing that ended up merging with Prosper. I decided I wasn't interested but they apparently don't take no for an answer.

This company  keeps calling 2 and three times during the day. I will
not anawer anyone that will not leave a message.

Got called 3 times in 20 minutes by these people. No one picks up on the other end. I tried to call back and was greeted by naught but an answering machine that did not identify the owner of the number in any way, shape, or form. I left them a terse message stating that they better hope I don't find out who they are.
