Three calls in one day. No message left. I suspect it is political because the primary election is within 2 weeks.

Answered this after the second call, it was Qwest doing a "courtesy call" asking if my DSL service was working to my satisfaction.

Consistently calls and leaves no message.  Who is this?  It is very annoying.

CID shows 'Not Provided'. If it is Qwest, they should identify themselves. They call at least once a day and never leave a message. I cancelled my Qwest DSL account over a month ago.

After a couple of times of getting calls from this number and then hearing clicks, followed by dead air, I finally decided to call the number back. As 'KA' mentioned, it was Qwest. They appear to have an automated dialing system to 'make sure their customers' high speed internet is working', and what seems to have happened to me was that I kept getting back on the dialing list. The service person said she'd make a note that I'd already been called, but I'm going to keep track of how many times it's already called, just in case it keeps happening.

Hope this is helpful to someone!

So did I.  Maybe that's why they're calling; to offer to give you/me the good service at the fair price they should have given us BEFORE we dumped em.

It is Century Link/Qwest doing a "courtesy call"  since we dumped them last month.  In other words, a blatant solicitation that they were planning on recording.  So I just said "You can stop talking right now, and don't call me back."  However, since this is the 2nd "Courtesy Call" in 2 weeks, I stronly suspect that they plan to ignor my request not to be solicited further. Had I gotten the service they had promised at a fair price in the first place, I'd not have given them the heave ho.  Too bad customer service only kicks in when you're leaving or gone, ya know?  Kind of like that old saying, you don't know what you've got until you;ve lost it; actually, you knew exactly what you had, but didn't think you'd lose it, and you're surpsied.

CenturyLink calling to kiss butt since their slow DSL, pay $80 if you need help - service was cancelled for Crestview Cable (Central Oregon) whose service has rocked since Day 1. Caller ID reads TOLL-FREE.

How does the regulatory agencies(see the taxes paid on your bill) let them get away with the bundling schemes.
If you want to have one or two(caller id etc) you have to "pay" for the bundle and not just for the 2 items you want.

If this is Centurylink, why does it not say so?  Is it ambush butt kissing because I told them what a piece of crap their service was?  These idiots had a chance to do it right the first, second, third and fourth time but chose to SUCK.  Never again will I use Centurylink.  Crappy service.  I have speed numbers I published on Facebook, to show how horrible their DSL is.  What a joke for a company.  I went back to Comcast.

Received 3 calls yesterday and one so far today. I don't answer and they leave no message. Called the number and got a rep who said she is with CenturyLink. I gave her my phone number and asked that she remove me from their call list. She said she would so we'll see.

I just got Century Link last week and it's them calling to see if I'm happy with my new service. Just a courtesy call, no solicitation.

I just cancelled a hook-up for CenturyLink internet because I didn't want to have to enroll in auto-pay billing to get a decent monthly rate. Thats when I started getting the calls. I have never answered them because I didn't recognize the number. And even after I cancelled two days before the guy was supposed to show up, he showed up anyway. AND, when I called to cancel the rep told me they had been charging me for service for two weeks, BEFORE I WAS EVEN SCHEDULED TO BE HOOKED UP! That was supposed to be taken care of and no charges to me.....We'll see. I won't pay them a single dime! Thank goodness I cancelled before they talked me into "auto-pay". I would have to change my account number.
