All we get is a rude message that says to call immediately.  No other details.
Who in there right mind would just blindly call back a number that gives no other information?

got a similar message. called ID shows the number as a 404 area code, and google shows it's a collection agency:

These people call my house 3-4 times a day starting as early as 7AM and as
late as 9PM. Never leave a message, just the number on the caller ID. I
happened to catch the call today and held for a representative to tell
them they had the wrong number. Giving up after holding for 5 minutes or
so, I tried to disconnect. I COULDN'T. I know how to hang up a phone, it
just wouldn't let me and tied up my phone for 10 minutes until finally
a person answered as I was pushing up and down on the disconnect. VERY
WEIRD! I've never had this happen before. But they did say they would
remove the number from their list. I had to *69 to get their number to
come here.

this is a very important call for...........this is not a sales call it is a very important business matter...call Mr.... at this number!! so I called back, this is a sunday and they have called every day on a new auto dialed number....and every time I go to my service provider and put yet another block on another number..finally I told the woman who answered to quit calling my number, gave her the name of the number holder and of course it is different than that of the person they are looking for.. blocked the number anyway.  They are First Financial " junk debt vultures"

Amy Mosely at ext. 1730 called me at my place of employment.  Only left her name and number.  I returned the call and found that the call was regarding HSBC credit card account I had closed. I instructed her to call me on the phone number associated with my HSBC account and not to call me at work again.   I also informed her that I was posting this as documentation of giving them that notification.  The tactic these companies always take is to have a different person call again in a week and claim that no one noted it in the notes that they were not supposed to call your work number.  This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

It's "First Financial" almost Definitely! This is list of ALL #'s calling my Cellphone this month, I think attributed to these people:  404-523-6047,  866-803-1861,  866-370-1759,  401-889-2331.   Many (not all) times they are looking for a "T. Graco" or some similar name to that.... Go put them on your Call-Block-list (w/ Verizon Wirless, VZW, use the Web-site for that). Good luck, the BBB (Better Bus. Bureau) says they are a legit business.

I talked to these people and they gave me an account # that is one we have never had and they say we had this account in a year that we couldn't even get a credit card. My husbund says that it is not any # we have ever had on a card. He remembers every # on every card we have ever had. So I know it is truely not a account of ours. These people also asked for my full social security #! No real company asks for that. Plus this account (that is supposed to be ours) is supposed to have been opened more then 15 years ago and this is the first we have heard of it?!
