I have received 9, yes, that is NINE calls from this number in the past 12 hours......4 in the last hour and a half.  It is VERY annoying, I will NOT answer the phone if I don't recognize the number or the name attached (IF there is one).  Does anyone have any clue who this number belongs to??

The number is for CreditOne Bank.  I think they are sponsored by Capital One.  If you have a credit card with them that might be the reason they are calling or like me, they called to try and get me to apply for the card since I already have a Capital Onr card.  Hope this helps!!

It is CreditOne Bank and they want money from you. If I am one day late on a payment, I get 8-10 calls a day at work and at home. You would think that after the first 30 calls they make, they will realize you are not going to answer an unknown number or a toll free number. Those are never good news.

No but I have gotten about 8 calls from them myself, all today from around 9am until present time which is 5pm. I don't answer calls from numbers I do not recognize either. I use my home number as a throw away number anyway. I give it to everyone but I never answer it because everyone I want to talk to calls my cell. Most the time I just turn the ringer off, but you have to give a number on all your credit applications etc. I call it my throw away number.

Credit One Bank------I have received about 30 calls from this number since moving here 2 months ago!!! Went to a pay phone and dialed the number because when I answer at home there is dead silence, says you have reached Credit One Bank, I will call them on Monday and see if I can get removed from their dialer or maybe I might just have to get a new phone number !!!!!

Stop fricken calling every hour of the day(literally)!!

No 800 collection number has ever annoyed me as much as they have. They are rediculous. They start calling me soon after 8 am. I had 4 calls from them before 9 am. Calling people 30 times a day, is not going to make me pay them any faster. But it will make me change my phone number. THEY ARE REDICULOUS!! I HATE THEM!!

they call about 10 times a day and i dont answer. when i do answer i tell them that my fiance is out of town on a family emergency and that he will call when he gets back in town. stop calling all the time. damn give it a rest. they call from 8am to about 9pm everyday. the law states that no telemarketers or debt collecters can call after 8pm and u even call on sundays. man god made a day of rest. use it!

I keep getting this call too and had no idea who it was from.  I won't answer either as it doesn't state who it is and they don't leave any message.  Thanks for the info guys.  It is much appreciated.

Credit One Bank, Calls 20-30 times a day, This needs to STOP, People are always going to be a little late and I am only one payment missed!!!!!  Harrassament!!!!!!!!!!!

These people call approx. 20-30 times a day! My payments have never been late and my next payment isn't due for another month! They are very irritating! I usually just push the button on my called id box that says "Take this number off your list."

I have been getting these calls too, but they start at 6 am!  The phone rings once, and goes to missed call. I managed to answer it one time quickly at 6 am, to have a person who barely speaks english start yelling at me! I do not have a card with this company, and when she started yelling I said its 6 am what in the world are you calling me this early for? She told me too bad. Who do I contact about this? And its a cellphone they called. Only family members have this number.

I just got off the phone with the FTC and the Attorney Generals office. I am filing a complaint, having phone calls starting at 6 am has to stop. I have called Credit One and asked them to stop calling because one I dont owe them any money, canceled the card. And I let them know they are calling too early. They said sorry we will get it fixed. Still hasnt happened. Does anyone know whats going to happen next?

They complete jerks when you do answer the phone. I was one day late for a $20 payment, and they hounded me over 30 times in one day. I finally spoke with them after work and told them that I had already mailed my payment and to make note not to call again. They called 20 times a day for the next four days. I finally had enough and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Bunch of JERKS!

Called me to discuss my payment that was 3 days late, I told them I intended on making a payment that day but had to check my balances. Couldnt make the payment THAT DAY and they froze my card for a balance of $78 on an $800 max card. Completely threw off my budget for the month. And now they've been calling me 5-6 times a day, I hadn't answered the number after the first time I had 4 missed calls from and unknown with no message. I just got a call and decided to look it up online...it's 11:00 at night!? Glad this is here, I'm paying my balance and cancelling this card, this is ridiculous.

these jerks start calling at 8:30am and don't stop until 9pm. they never  leave a message. the person they are calling for is in jail with a release date of 2010. i've sent them letters requesting a "cease and desist", but they just ignore it, so i guess the next option is reporting them to whoever i can! they are very rude on the phone. i hope they all fall off the face of the earth!

I received many calls 7 days a week from 8 AM to 9 PM... and they do not leave a message. When I return the call, it's an automated message... and you cannot speak to a live person unless it's business hours! So they can call me during non-business hours, but I cannot call them?! Plus, if it's from a collection department... we paid our bills on time yet they charge us late fees! The interest is more than the actual balance! Obsurd, Credit One! Complete jerks, the woman I talked to was a complete ass to me...she got pissed at me when I constantly asked her questions back, after I had told her that my wife and I were in the process of foreclosure,and that we were going to have to file bankruptcy because of it all....now unlike some the other creditors I have dealt with...they were more than satisfied that I gave them my attorney's name,address, and telephone number...these [***] clowns at Credit One wanted nothing to do with it...because we are in the early process of this all,and we still do not have a file number to date....which made this [***] fire back saying well...you call us when you get this info. I kept telling her that the others,like HSBC for example was okay with everything I did to update them about our current situation...hell,even a couple collection agencies were okay with it also,and that they would stop calling here because they now knew the current situation of our status, but not these [***] clowns at Credit One....she told me that they were going to continue calling me everyday until I give the info., or pay them the debt that I cannot afford to pay (which is yes,my fault,I understand that ) I told them to stop calling my wife's cell phone, especially when she's at work, told her straight out to stop it or else I will be taking actions against them, and I ended up giving them my home number and asked her once again why wasn't the info. I was trying to give her okay, she once again stated that Credit One cannot do such a thing, I then asked her to stop calling me period, that no matter how many times they call here, they were going to get the same answer from me,she said they will be calling and calling and calling....I told her that,that was harrassment,she said she did not care( I wish we here in Florida can record phone conversations)...I blurted out while she was hanging up on me F-U...my bad, she had me pissed off..anyway, I look forward to them calling me at home now because I plan on making them miserable right back by asking the craziest questions I can come up with...I am a disabled person who is told constantly by my nuerologist to not get stressed out because it will make my condition get worse, but now I'm using this negative as a form of relaxation....thank you Credit One, and have a nice day..!
