Same here. I've answered twice and there is no response nor sound on the other and after a few seconds, the call is ended by the other party.

Receive 3 or 4 calls a day for last 2 months. Rings twice then hang-up. Never leave a message. I don't try to answer any more.

From Divergient Security or something like that. Actually asked me for my social security number to verify my address. Blatant fraud, folks.

Identify themselves as a collection agency?????

i keep getting calls no one on line..i try to call back and just half of a recorded message i can not actually speak to a HUMAN..ONLY AUTOMATED. ...And if its a bill collector...they are not supposed to call cell phones...actually they have to follow FCC laws.

Who is there to make them follow FCC laws?

Said his name was Richard from Diversified Adjustment Services...collection agency. Said he was looking for someone else and told me my name would be removed from his list...guess we'll see.

My wife keep getting called by these folks. We just don't answer @ all.

I'm sick of these calls

They called four times today.  They left message once a few days back.  Fake collection agency.  Diversified Adjustments or some such.  Using a random dialing machine.  Ask to call back.  No way.

Woman called asking for me saying it was in regard to a private financial matter - told her I wasn't home and blocked her number!

Not a fake collection agency since a simple web search shows they are located in Minnesota.  Now, since they left a message, they are now required by law to do this:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

At which time you need to do this:

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.

We thank you for your redundant post as we never called you, have no idea who you are, or who called you. Glad you didn't have to put a stamp on that.

They called, they didn't leave a message.  Sounds like a scammer from the other posts
