866-372-8602

Received a message this morning from a local number instructing me to call 866-372-8602 with regard to a legal case that was about to be filed against me. To start I immediately dialed the local # back which simply rang and rang and rang.  Then I dialed the 866 number and the only company information that was given was 'Thank you for calling Atlantic.' When I did get someone on the phone, they informed me that a case was about to be filed against me by Kemper Evergreen over a $300 payday loan.  I had never heard of the company. After doing an internet search, I could not find the company. I was then told that Kemper was the parent company and Evergreen was the sister company that loaned the money.  I have sadly taken out payday loans before but this name was still foreign to me.  I simply asked for the date the money was deposited into my account so that I could verify bank records and then we could discuss it further.  He said that he was not authorized to reveal evidence that was going to be used against me in court.  He then connected me (after a lengthy hold) to a supervisor who told me this call was not even about trying to get the money but simply trying to locate me.  I have no doubt this is a scam, but was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.  On a side note, while I was on the phone with them, they called my wife's phone and my parents house.  WHILE I WAS TALKING TO THEM!! Doesn't seem to be a well oiled machine.

I received a call from a blocked number that left me a message to call the 866 number you called as well. From there my experience is nearly identical to what you have stated. He became agitated when I told him that I've never received anything in writing about any of this, and that to collect a debt legally that has to be done. He told me that the charges have already been filed, so I asked him what was the purpose of having me call? He closed with "is there anything else I can not help you with today?" I told him no, and he said good luck and hung up. Very unprofessional, and screams that it's a scam.

i keep gettinf damn calls about LAMPS on sale from this number its dumb i do not need a lamp i know marketing is at a high for the year but after i tell these people to stop calling they called me again today ABOUT LAZYBOY CHAIRS ughh! i am gonna change my numbers im not buying anything unless i have it in hand.

I am getting the same call only the number is 866-214-6188. They are also having a person call saying they are coming to my work to serve me papers. I am having to change my bank information and my phone number because of these calls.
Please anyone who is getting these calls, DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION>

called and stated that my daughter took out a payday loan.  when I asked her about it she said no. never heard of evergreen - kemper.  i stupidly set up for them to take the money out of my account before doing the research on the company. when i sent an email to get the proof of the loan i never heard back from them.  the company letter head says ema services but the stamp on the bank of the check says: for deposit only first Niagara, revenue management group, llc. these people suck my daughter is in the military and does not need this crap.

I had an almost identical experience with this group they got very hostile , when i ask for a written notice and a list of charges and fees owed,, they would give me no information. They gave me no info on the creditor or the case number of the filing, when i asked for this info in writing .I was threatened   with litigation for 2 counts of fraud.I have contacted and filed a complaint with the states attorney consumer affairs office

Its weird same thing happened to me they threatened to take me to court told them I didn't recognize the name or even take out online loans. I have been going through a local face to face company for years. Anyways the supervisor was rude because I wanted to very their company before making any payment rover t

Long story short they hung up on me while I was trying to verify ARA & Associates and the online loan. Company I never took out Evergreen- Kemper. The guy was yelling at me said he would see me in court I said I would pay it with no problem because I have been working to raise my credit even if its not mine I can always figure out who it was and take them to small claims court he got mad and hung up on me. I think its fraud.

Keep me updated. I had a call from them as well regarding someone else.

It seems like I'm having the same troubles with the same thing online payday loan from years ago.
