LOL.  Okay, I'm not the only one trying to find out who belongs to 866-380-8783, and without paying a search fee.  I'm one of those private people, if there's no caller ID attached to it, then I don't answer.  But neither do they don't leave a message, and have rung my cell phone off the hook three times today alone.  Hmmm.  Ex-husband, bill collector, sales person...none of whom I'd be interested in.  Good luck.

No message left...came up as out of area with the phone # 866-3808783...no clue who it is but my guess is a marketing company of some sort.

The person wanted to talk to the head of household.
Did not give any details about the nature of the request.

866-380-8783 belongs to company called Northland Group (www.northlandgroup.com) - a debt collection agency.

This number has been calling me all day for the last few days.  They even called after 9 PM the other night!  They don't leave messages, and the one time I picked up the phone there was no one there.  Pains in the [***]!

i've gotten several calls as well.  it is northland group.  i called them back and they would not say why they were calling, just who they were calling for.  told them that the person they were calling from was not at that number and they "supposedly" listed it as a bad number.  we'll see.

I keep getting calls.  I have told them to remove me from their list, they keep asking for a person who does not live here.  I swear, I'm getting extremely pissed off.

Caller just hangs up when it goes to answering machine

Have called our home many, many times - we have new number, so I'm sure they are trying to contact the previous owner.  It would be nice if they listened to the message and acknowledge that they have the wrong number!!!

it is a credit and collections agency called lakeshore.

This company called Northland keeps calling and not leaving messages on my machine.  They finally left an automated message that was obnoxious, and when I called, the guy asked If I was some Mexican name, and when I stated I wasn't some that guy, he hung right up on me.

I called back to state it is against the law to call me (Do Not Call) and he said it was business related, and I replied that it was business for some Mexican guy, not me and that a simple Google search can inform him of that.  I was on speaker phone and people in the background were making jokes.  

What a Crass company.

This caller has been calling my home everyday, not leaving any message on VM. Eventually, I install caller ID on my homephone, and call them back, it always answers by a woman named Carmen that says she is in Oakland, California, 866-380-8783 is not her phone number, her phone number starts with 380 but the rest of the number is not her number???

I guess we could get this number owner name from AT&T and we could pool together for action class law suit toward the owner of this number for telephone harrasment. What do you guys think?

got a call from them. heard talking in the background and they hung up. I called back and they said Northland Group. I hung up. They called back, waited for answering machine to play and then once it beeped hung up. wth?

I have yelled at these stupid people and told them to quit calling, it has done no good! A class action law suit sounds good to me, I am tired of harrassment and ignorance. They are not doing a very good job if they are supposedly trying to collect money...must be nice to have a job to call at your leisure and f--- off the real purpose. Nice employers!! A--holes!

How do you stop something like this....

I got two calls from them yesterday and today, they left no message.  But they're using my cell minutes.  Called back, and spoke to Adrian at Northland Group, actually she was very nice, apologized, asked me if I was the name they were looking for, and I was not (our names were similar though).  They said they would take my name off.  Hopefully this will work

Got a call from this number.  They left a recorded message asking me to call back for a business matter.  I called and got a person right away.  I said I got a call from this number and wasn't sure why.  They guy told me they were looking for "David Weare" which is not me or anyone I know.  I told him they had the wrong number and he said he'd make a note of it...
