No sound, just hang up

Just got a call... Returned it, but the guy didn't speak very clearly, would not say if it was a business.  I hung up.

might be debt collector wanting information or trying to recognize someone

I had a call for my dad from this number. He is not in any kind of debt so I doubt its a debt collector

I received calls from this numbers numerous times, including at 5:20am one morning.  I finally answered it today.  The caller inquired as to my name, then asked me to provide my address to confirm my identity.  I refused and demanded that he provide the address he suspected I lived at.  It matched my father's address from some time ago (not his current one).  I asked as to why he needed to confirm my identity, and he claimed to need that information in order to avoid violating any "real estate laws".  Sounded like malarky to me.  I indicated that I had never lived at the address he had offered and he ended the call.

calls 3-5 times a day and when I pick up it just hangs up.  very annoying.

Constant calls from this number- picked it up one day- started to ask the non-english speaking person

I finally pinned him down that the call was not coming from the US- he was calling from INDIA!!! Yeah!!! Just so everyone knows, in these times of identity theft, terrorism, etc. American companies are sending all of your personal information to foreign entities!!!!

If the Indian jerk reads this- this is America- we are in the process of becoming a 3rd world country- there are no jobs, no money, no homes, etc. You can call all friggin day and it is pointless.

I cannot believe that our government has made overseas jobs more important than jobs in the US- they also think it's ok to distribute American personal information...

Allied Interstate collection agency.  They call several times a day, leave no message, very rude and call from 7:00 am until after 10:00 pm.  I have asked them to stop calling, but they ignore my request.  How to stop them?

I have a contact list on my cell phone and have a contact I call "Block Call". Whenever a call comes from 866-383-5073 the caller ID shows up as "Block Call" so I don't bother answering it. I also never set up my voicemail so no one can leave a message, even if they want to.

I've gotten 2 calls from them in the past few days.  I never pick up numbers I don't know.  And luckily I just found a feature on this new phone, it can block the calls from specific numbers, so now I should never have to deal with them.
Maybe some of these american companies are using foreign companies to send their spam calls so they can get around the "do not call" list since the foreign companies may not have to follow them.
These shark-like, "make money at all costs" types of businesses are really annoying me.

Allied Interstate collection agency. Since I have no debt and no outstanding credit issues, this is a SCAM. Someone got a dead list of stolen information and is pharming for information to most likely drain your bank or checking account.

I get multiple calls from this number! The person always speaks very poor broken english. One call they asked if I knew someone and I thought they had mis-pronounced the name and I offered the name I thought they were talking about. I got the "Yes! Yes! that's it!" Are you serious? They wanted information on someone who has been deceased for 5 years. They continually ask for different people and then want my personal information. They refuse to give me any information about who they are and I refuse to give them any information. I have asked them to remove me from their call list.  I am guessing that this is some sort of scam operation posing as a debt collector. BE VERY CAREFUL!

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past 3 weeks now, everyday. The first call is at 5am and the last is at 9pm. I tried calling them and someone with a middle eastern accent answered the phone. When he answered he did say, "A.I.C" so this is definitely a collection agency.

i answer phone and no one is ever on the other end. Called 3 times today.How can I stop these calls.
