Sure enough, Payless Shoe Source telling me that their BOGO sale (which is actually a BOGO-HO sale, buy one get one half off) ends soon.  BFD, but it's a welcome diversion from the usual bill collectors.  The call-from number is also the call-back number to be removed from the list.  I'm not going to bother... it's not like I answer calls from 866 prefixes anyway!

I'm not sure why we can't just all file a class action lawsuit against them for deliberate harrassment. Clearly, they scoff at the do-not-call. I know this because in one day, they called all 3 of my registered numbers!!!  And those numbers have been registered a minimum of 3 years.

Calling all lawyers - anyone want to take on a class action??  I'm there!

PayLess BoGo they sent me an email yesterday and now they left me a nice recorded message. I signed up for the deals, so I'll just call them and have them remove my number from their list.

You can press 3 to stop receiving calls. I answered the call this time and the woman on the recording said that I wouldn't receive any more calls.

Annoying call from the Payless Shoes company. Telephone display showed 866-384-1594 (800 Service).

I just don't understand how the people from this company, Payless Shoes can be so brazenly unpleasant and inconsiderate and keep calling numbers regardless of whether they are in in the "do not call list". Don't they realize because of this people will start hating them and will never again set foot on their stores?

They are calling you because at one time you shopped at Payless & provided them with your phone number. Why do you think they ask you when you check out what your phone # is? Duh. So they can call you with an ad. You can't report them to the no call list if you voluntairly gave your number!

I got a call from them last evening. If I get another I'll file a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry. If you have had your number or numbers listed with them for 31 days then you shouldn't get any calls. But apparently some telemarketers ignores that list. To file a complaint go to: https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

I had just filed a complaint with them on another number (516-858-7142)
Caller ID said it was Auto Warranty. I'm interested in what the results of my complaint will be. If the complaint doesn't solve the problem then I'm all for filing a class action lawsuit and collecting punitive damage rewards from these imbecile telemarketers.

A lot of companies ask for your phone number. Auto-zone, for example uses your phone number as a way of identifying you for warranty returns. I purchased a lot of parts from Auto-zone and never ever had any calls from them. Walmart is another example, not all the time, but sometimes when you return an item for a refund, they ask for your phone number. But I've never received any calls from them. Solicitation or otherwise.

I received a call at 9:38AM this morning from them I did not answer because I do not answer calls that arent local unless its my friend from
Wisconsin calling me. They let it ring 15 times then hung up and tried it
again and again let it ring 15 times. If they call again I will be forced
    to take action.

HAHAHA. That's funny. No, it's def not bill collectors getting creative. It's just Payless advertising their crap. It's extremely annoying.

Yea, I've done that three times and they are still calling me. I'm reporting them right now. This is getting ridiculous. The last time I bought something from them was ages ago and while I don't get that many calls from them I have done the option for removing my number from the list three times and they still continue to contact me.
