Got a prepaid v3c razor from Verizon about 6 months ago.. got it programmed and was all set I thought.5 minutes later the phone rings and theres a serious sounding return message call. Thinking it may be verizon calling about somthing I called it back... There was a rude woman on the other end speaking broken English and looking for someone named Jose..I told her there was no Jose and that I had just received this number with my new phone so kindly stop calling me. She was rude and basically hung up on me. But the calls stopped.. for about 2 weeks ...and then started again.. this time a guy looking for Elizebeth. I told him the same thing I told the lady earlier..but again was rudely hung up on. Now this number Calls 10 to 30  times a day.. looking for someone different each time. I dont even answer it anymore as its a waste of time trying to get them to quit calling.I suspect it to be some rogue collection agency who dosen't know their A$$ from a hole in the ground and dosen't care who they make miserable as long as they make their quota of calls. I am tempted to get a new number issued but worry I will get something as bad.. or worse next time.

This 1-866-385-0297 has called our home 17 times in the past week.  I work nights, they call in the morning and after TWO rings I answer.  There is never a reply, they just hang up and I can even hear noise (people talking) in the background.

I just called them back for the 3rd time and I spoke to 2 people of whom I could barely understand.  It's an "OUTSOURCED" company of which makes me angry in the first place as it takes away jobs for Americans.  They claim they are "Aliance Financial Intitute" and are trying to collect money.  We owe no one but our utilities and house payment.  MORONS!

I asked them to please take my number off their list.  I explained I am tired and irritated being awakened to answer the phone only to be hung up on by them.

Shahira calls several times a day leaving a message, reading a script, with all poor pronunciation, asking too call her back as soon as possible. When you call back they ask for all your personal info before telling you what they want. THEY ARE DEBT COLLECTORS

I have a new company cell phone. I have not given the number to anyone except for my client, and internally to coworkers. So no one should really know this number, right?
Last week while with my client in another state, I got a call on Mon, Tue, Wed and Thu - between 9am and noon. I didn't recognize the #, so I did not answer. Upon returning to work - I did a Google to research the number and found this info.
I am guessing some folks pay every time they answer a cell call. What a scam.

Alliance One--some type of collection agency.  They call several times a day even though I have told them they have the wrong #.  idiots.

I too received numerous calls from 866-385-0297 without anyone speaking to me or leaving a message.

It is interesting that the caller acquired my new cell phone number only a week after it was activated. Actualluy, I didn't have a chance to call my home from it yet, never mind giving it to anyone. It almost looks like my telephone company "works" for these jokers.

Does anyone of you know where the caller is located? If so, please let me know. I travel a lot and would not miss on visiting them on the first available opporunity.

Also, has anyone of you checked their record with the BBB or reported their calls to the police?

I get a call from this number about once a day.  I've tried to call it back and sometimes it rings and then goes silent and one time it said my call could not be completed at this time.  I decided to check it out and found this site.  

How can I get this number to stop calling me ?

Either noone answers or they are asking for "Jennifer"????
Threatened to sue them if they dare to bother me again.
What legal actions are there to take???

These people call me all day long they never say anything and never leave a message what can I do ??

They call for a coworker, but it takes them some time to actually give me his name.  I have asked them to stop calling at work, but they don't listen.

I too, have been recieving numerous calls, from this phone number as well.  I have never answered it, and probably never will.  However, I am thinking that I am going to call this number back from a payphone or from somewhere other than my phone to see out of curiosity.  These scammers make me sooo freakin angry.

no party on other end of line. Multiple calls per day. I owe no money to anyone. This obviously unprofessional debt collector is harassing the wrong person.

Give them a taste of their own medicine. I crank call them all the time, and make their lives HELL.LOL. Those SOB's deserve it.

It's a debt collector (Alliance One)  for Target credit cards

These idiots call both my home and cell number but never leave a message.  If you're calling for me leave a message and maybe I'll get back.  The caller ID does read "Alliance One".

They called me here at work and make me look so dumb people think i am in debt now?!?!?!?!?

This collection agency actually texted me their number today.  All it was was a number.  No other text...Nothing.  Never had any calls from them either on my phone.  Is this a new tactic?

Got a call from Andrea from Alliance. As I can see from the post board here this is some kind of collection agency. Please have them stop calling me at work....
