    Got a "black screen of death." Message on screen says to call this number.  It is a scam.  They will try to get control of your computer and your credit card information.  Message says don't shut down.  You need to shut down and restart.  I didn't need to do anything else besides shut down to get rid of the message.

    Yea, I had the same problem several times and I just shut down my computer but what I don't understand is why Microsoft doesn't respond and shut these scammers off?
