i seem to get a call from this number everyday for the past few weeks. I never answer but it is gettin quite annyoing.

they just called my parents house asking me to call back to pay for a parking ticket from another city. very sketchy.

Supposedly this call is from an attorney's office which has a name something like Longburger, Gogin, Boyer & Sampson.  The message was recorded with an insertion of my name in it by a different person.

pretty sure it's the law firm the city of chicago has hired to collect old unpaid parking tickets....F 'em!  Don't pick up.

That's exactly what they are doing, trying to collect tickets.

It is Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP. A bunch of sh!tty sharks, trying to collect $100 on a 10 year old $40 Crook county, City of Shitcago,  parking ticket. Ignore them or fake like you don't speak English and Fvck with them. Make my day to do the latter.

Picked up, heard music, put 'em hold 'til they hung up.

The only ticket I ever got was from 20 years ago when my car was stolen. Officer knew it was reported stolen and still gave me a ticket. My insurance paid it so why they keep calling is beyond me. Besides it has been 20 years.

There is never anyone on the other end. I answer and the phone disconnects in a few seconds

Been calling for weeks from Chicago, (go figure)…asking me to pay at red light camera ticket that IS NOT mine.
They call and then there is no answer
I've told them three times to stop and they WILL NOT

I told these scumbags that the person they were calling for did not live here and has never lived here and I don't have any unpaid tickets.  At the next call I told them to remove my number from their list and the idiot said he didn't know how.  I told him to find somebody who did and then I filed a complaint with the FTC and told them I would file a complaint with EVERY phone call until they stopped them. Let's see how many more calls I get.

This is from a collection company trying to collect on a ticket supposedly issued by the city of Chicago back in 1997.  They call every day and most of the time there's no one there when I pick up.  

they called I answered and he didn't say a word and they hung up on me. I answered his calls and mess with them I always make it very difficult for them

I got multiple calls from them, but every time nobody answers from the other side.
They are debt-collectors but I have no idea why are they calling, since they never left any message for me.

get calls from this number frequently. when i answer no one says anything and they hang up. i have no idea who they are or what they want

asking for someone not living here

I receive regular calls from this number.  Each time I pick up and say hello, but nobody responds.  It sounds like there is someone there (I think I hear breathing), but they just hang up after I say hello several times.  I previously looked up the number and saw this thread and that the calls could be related to unpaid parking tickets in Chicago.  I checked on the City of Chicago website under my wife and my drivers license numbers and vehicle license plate numbers and we have no outstanding tickets listed (i.e., the few tickets we have received over the last 20 years have been paid).  I would've been happy to discuss it with them but they just hang up, wasting my time.
Accordingly, I've blocked the number.
