I get called every week for awhile now and say they are from Kauffman and associates. They will calling from a California area code now its this number...look up Kaufman and Associates debt collector and they are a fraud...I talked with them and asked to send me something via USPS and they told me they did and I said that was funny because I never got it they proceeded to tell me what address they sent it to which was wrong and they told me since I moved past 6 months it wasn't forwarded and I told to send me another copy at my new address which I still haven't received and all this happened since end of Janurary

Just receive a call that they have a case against me that they are going forward with full extended of the Law..

Just called with a fake case number making threats if I did not call by the end of the day I would be sued.  Scam big time!

This person keeps calling my place of employment.  She is discussing business with my supervisor.

Same here! Called my HR Corporate office. I called back and no answer. I filed a complained with FTC. No website found.

Report them to FTC & CFPB. Thats against the law to discuss personal thing with others.

Different people call tthrrateing my property & me.  Never give a name or who their firm is only that i need to call them back by the end of day or else & then they leave some case number.  They aren't even smooth with their delivery.  I'm going to report them to thr FTC & CFPB tomorrow.

I keep receiving calls every few days telling me this is last chance before they take action against me and my property.  Funny thing is the property is rental where I live.  Never give a name or name of their firm.  Call my work phone as well

Called saying they have a case against me and my property demanding a call back even called a relative called Work also  Robo call harassment at its best

They call me and keft a message about some legal action didn't understood the detail message

Just got off the phone with Landon. He said he was going to follow through with a suit against a person I don't know. I asked him to hurry up so they can stop calling me.

Called and left a message for someone I don't know. When I called asking them to remove my number I was transferred to some man who answered. Executive office..i told him to remove my number he placed me on hold

How to stop the unknown numbers coming to your phone? I want to sue them. If anybody wants to go in on a class action on these people, I;m in.

I'm getting these calls from this so call firm stating they have a case against me as well and they will give my last 4 of my social however that info is Easily obtainable plus they are calling other people to get a hold of me when that person tried to get info from this so call collector he became angry and hung up this is a big scam and because they say key words it would appear they are legit but if they can't support their claim then do not fall for their scam no matter how saavy they get

The last 4 digits of your Social Security number should NOT be easily obtainable. You should protect that information and not treat it so casually to help protect your identity. Don't treat it like your shoe size.

Thank you for the advice heinz57 I checked and I contacted info regarding this and I was told they get this info from our credit report plus my yahoo acct was hacked so was my bank and I believe IRS was also hacked so what I was told they can retrieve info that way and pose as a fake collector they can also grab info from your credit report so I got info from a reliable source on how to safe guard my info but thank you again

You are right, it should not be easily obtainable, but if you search enough sights you will find all sorts of info!  I was searching on ancestory for info about family members.... found everyone's social security number... scary!
