REpeated messages from an automated machine.

April 29,30 my elderly Mother got a rude phone message in a womans voice speaking loudly fast and abrupt saying 'This is Alliance 1 - this is not a telephone solisication, You have not responded to our previous calls and it is essential you phone us as soon as possible'.  They did not use her name.
I phoned my husband and he too listened to the message.  Alliance One is a collection agency however my Mother owes no one anything.
I phoned the number and got a tape machine 'Press ...for English etc.' and then finally got transferred to a message machine that said they were not there.  We are planning to report this to the OPP since this is some sort of attempted fraud.  We have also emailed Alliance One so they are aware.

I called them back twice with a blocked number and hung up on them when they picked up...let them know how ppl feel with these annoying phone calls

I have been receiving these calls on a daily basis for days now. I simply hang up when the "lady" start speaking!!!

I am getting this phone call everyday sometime two or three times a day.

I have received daily calls from this company and find the recorded message quite threatening. It starts as follows:-

This is alliance 1,this is not a solicitation

I never answer 866 calls and they don't usually leave a message.  I have kept track of every single one of these types of calls going back to 2007.  If you people all say it is alliance 1, I can confirm that they have also called in the past using 866-902-3690.  In my case, it is a collection agency trying to track down an ex employee on over due payday loans.

Oh goodness this same message was left on our telephone answering machine as was left on Donna's mom's.  They're most annoying.  I have finally blocked their number.  That worked for a couple of weeks and are now calling from another number to which I have also blocked.  Alliance 1 is a scam.

They keep calling me 4 times a day, and this is a new number. They keep asking for somebody else and I keep telling them "I don't know them, now leave me alone!" I am a 15 year old adolescent, I can't even get a  Visa.

yeah that number just got a call from this people 1866 398 7644, you know sometimes they call every 20 minutes and the answer machine goes on and these people do not leave a message, why because they are scammers, that's why, if the call was important and real they would be honest to leave you a message to let you know who is calling or called, this happens because 1- your name is the same as somebody else, 2- you cancelled a, let's say a membership at a gym and the owner of the gym wants your money even do you cancelled it.
So some scammers out there get on hold of your name and info, so they place the act that they are from alliance one, just to get a credit card from you so you pay your debt, ooohhhh!!!!!, scary alliance one.So tell them you move, you die, wrong number. And go find out who put you on a collection agency, because of this bump ass, these people got your info.
Get the facts and report them all.

I have been hounded by these people looking for someone. They won't tell me their name or location so I can contact the law.

This number 1-866-398-7644 keeps calling our number and it's so annoying.They just asked me to call them back and I don't know who are they...They don't have manners too, "NO PLEASE" and "NO THANK YOU"...

I have received at least 10 phone calls from these people.  I finally reached a real person there and they could not see anything in their records pertaining to an outstanding issue.

Asked them to stop calling he said they would and that he would have a manager contact me.  Never got a call back.

4 weeks later they are still leaving nasty messages on my home number

Collection Agency calling regarding an outstanding Royal Bank debt I have. I don't call them back when they use that arrogant recording. But if they have someone call and leave a message I call them back when I want to talk to them or when I want to tell someone off and hang up!

Keep receiving calls from them.  Normally I don't answer 1-800 numbers if I don't know who it is.  It would be nice if they actually stated who they were in their message; the message just starts with "This is not a solicitation call".  I'm sorry but if you're legit you at least state who you are.  I'm wondering if this has to do with a couple messages I received a while ago for someone else.  It's a fairly new number so they could be calling for the last person who had it. *Sigh* I'm not aware of any debts owing.
