- Shannon Carter| 1 replyCall this number prior to a summons being served at my home or business.
- Shannon CarterWanted to know when and were we could meet to resolve a bad debt that had been reported to his office. Stated that I would have to contact them immediately or else they would come to my home or place of employment to serve a summons?
- Michelle PriestleyThey called my parents house saying I have a ton of bad checks and that I am going to be arrested.

- Susan| 1 replyA rep just called my work asking to speak to my supervisor. Just prior to that, he left a VM on my cell phone with a call back number of 866-399-2678. The name he left was TIm McFadden. When I returned the call, he stated that he had a summons to serve me at work. The only way to stop it would be provide him with a credit/debit card number (Yeah Right!) When I began questioning him about the company and the debt, he kept threatening me that I will see them in court - He refused to send me any documentation on paper, just on e-mail. I told him I am not comfortable and wanted to review this with my bankruptcy attorney. He said "Good Luck in Court." and hung up.

- rose replies to SusanSo did they ever serve you at your job or at home to go to court or was this a scamm?
- Rose| 1 replyI received a call from Mary Wile stated that she was working with ACS Groups and that I had a pay day loan that was due and that I needed to give them a Debi/Credit Card or they were going to serve me at work. First I received a call from a female stating that she was on her way to my job and to stop this I would need to call this 866-399-2678 and set payment plan or make payment. Offered them to go get a prepaid card and she stated that she needed a Debit/Credit Card.

- Brandy replies to RoseI just had the same experience. She hung up on me when I kept insisting they send me proof of the debt.
- Frustrated!Same thing here. Going to file complaints with FCC, etc., about them. This is ridiculous!
- Caller: ACS?
- FrustratedIt's a scam. They're not going to come to your job or even your home. If they were "real" process servers or debt collectors they would handle themselves more professionally. If they call me back, I'm simply going to tell them that they may serve me where ever they choose. I have no "bad checks" nor do I owe an any payday loans. Yes, I've had payday loans, but I've paid them and have bank records to prove it. I've also filed complaints with the FTC, and IC9, with my state Attorney General's office, and if they persist, I will file complaints with my local police and sherriff's departments.
No one should confirm any information when they call. Tell them that you will not deal with them and that they must leave you alone.
Please continue to file complaints - it's easy and hopefully one day these people will be caught!- Caller: "ACS Litigation"
- Upset to say the least| 1 replySomeone by the name of Kim called my work today, my husband, and my cell phone threatening to take me to court unless I resolve this matter now. She stated that I will be served for writing bad checks. I don't even have a checking account, nor have I had one for more than 5 years after somone stole money from our checking account (over $12, 000.00). I don't trust using a checking account anymore. Where do these people get off being so unprofessional? And I would like to know how they got all these telephone numbers to make these calls. I asked them to provide me with information, but they told me they could not and that I had to call a different number. I don't think so. They stated they were a law firm. but when I called the message was ACS.
How can I get them to stop calling my family or work? Help!
Thanks in advance for any advise you can provide!- Caller: ACS

- Frustrated replies to Upset to say the leastAccording to the person who contacted me from the AG's office in my state, all you can do is refuse to give them information or deal with them. They're just trying to scare people.
I, too, am upset that they're calling my place of work and I've told our receptionist about the calls so she knows it's a scam and that I'm not really "in trouble".
Tell them that you're going to file complaints. They'll act like they don't care, but it may stop them from calling you. - hlcThey are calling me too....said id been writing bad checks & they were going to come summons me tomorrow at my home or my work. She gave me a phone # to call & everytime I called, Id give them my name then get disconnected....WTH?????
- crystalthey call me all day long, threatening me that they will take me to court! i dont owe anyone anything! tired of the phone calls.

- BigmanI received a call left on my VM from a Timothty McFadden stating I was to appear in court in two weeks from today and wanted me to call a number back (866 399 2678) if I had any questions. I called the number back and the message said The ACS GROUP. Furthermore, I have not received anything in writing about any outstanding debts, which by the way is required by the to inform the person in writing before supposedly sending it to a court.

- brendaGot a call from this number today. I could barely understand what he was saying. I got a last name of Banks of the person calling. He said I was used a personal reference but I couldn't understand the name of the person that used me as a reference. I understood bad check charge, has a summons, and the case number.
Thanks for your info, I'll save the message in case I need it later.- Call type: Debt collector
- Sick and TiredThey have started calling my place of employment and relatives houses leaving these messages. First off as I explained to him that it is against the privacy laws to leave details messages with anyone except the person it is regarding. They have my whole family worried. I know it is a scam because I do not even have a checking account nor do I have any outstanding checks from the past. I have told them to stop calling my phone and my family. I am filing a complaint against them but I do not think it will do much good. The name I am given is Jason Gates. Serve me already and stop the harrasing phone calls. Never received anything in writing from this company and I refuse to give them my information.

- BA Daniel Lau from ACS (1-866-399-2678 - Extension 358) called and left me a message stating they would persue legal action if I did not call them. The message was intended for a person whom has never lived at my address. I called back to leave a message and tell them to not call again, and instead got yet another call and threating response stating that they (ACS) are a legislation company and to go ahead and complain, after calling me an idiot. This is harassment and I dont have time for it, but can not allow these people to go on making such calls without reporting this w/ FCC, do not call, etc.
Thank you- Caller: ACS

- LS replies to Shannon CarterI too received a message on my home voicemail from someone named Tracy stating that I was going to be served a summons for check forgery. Ridiculous! She left a case number and said I should call the ACS Group if I had questions. I called the number that she left and spoke to someone named Mr. Harrison, who said it was regarding a payday loan and that I owed $500 from 2006. I didn't even have a checking account then. He said that they could settle with me for $250 and that would stop me from being served and stop the court procedings. When I told him to fax me some documentation proving this, he said that he couldn't do that but could email it to me. I gave him my email but never received anything. I called back about 2 hours later, and talked to someone named Mary Wile. She stated that I owed $502 but they could settle with me for $300. A total different amount than what I was told earlier! I told her to email me the info and she said that she would. She placed me on hold for a moment and when she came back, said that she had just sent the email and I should be receiving it. I never received anything of course. Scammers! Don't give any of your bank account information to these people.
