866-403-2078

Allegedly Paul Camerary (sp?) calls and leaves messages asking for a return call to (866) 403-2078.  When you dial the number it just rings, rings, and rings.  Nuisance!!  Absolute nuisance to have people disrupt our business with these bogus messages to return a call.

I got a Camerary call today. I get one from him or another broker at what the answerer says is First Republic, a broker in NYC. Going to contact the SEC and NASD.

A guy named Mike Murphy called yesterday morning.  He asked for my boss and said to refer to himself as "Murph" and that my boss will know who it was.  When I returned to the call after placing him on hold, he hung up on me.  It disgruntles me that people can be so dishonest and slimey.

received call from 866-403-2078.  Caller left name of Will Jiggetts, no company name or further information.  Asked that I call back.  Returned call, just rang, no answer.

I get these calls from First Republic all the time. The latest was 09/04/07. Will Jiggetts called and told my secretary that I would know what it was about and to call the now infamous 866-403-2078 number.

I just got a call from Will Jiggetts ... he asked for my boss by name, when I mentioned he was out for a moment he asked for his voicemail.  A minute later I checked the voicemail and found that his call back number was 866.403.2078.  No company name or further information was disclosed.

Got a call today - the caller ID showed a 212 Area Code.  I figured it was a broker from New York who had called several times in the past.  The last time I told him not to waste my time or his - he hung up on me.  This time I let it ring.  He left a message "Joe, this is Steve Estavess" (sp?) like we were old buds and asked me to call him at - you guessed it - 866-403-2078.  I didn't - and won't.

We received a call from Mike Murphy who left the following number: 866-403-2078.  He asked to speak to my boss like they were buddies.  I asked if he was a client.  He said yes and gave his company name as FRG.  It sounded like a sales call so I asked what application he was calling about and he hung up.

We have gotten several calls from this number, from Mike Murphy, Will Jiggetts, and Paul Camarary. The message today was from Murphy. They always claim to be friends of my boss calling on personal business. Of course, my boss has no idea who they are. I have called the number a few times to request to be removed. Just did it again. The guy who answered was friendly and assured me they would do everything they can to remove our name and number. Since I have heard that before...

Joe Martin called today, using the same number.  Same line.  Googled the number and this came up.

I am the boss here, and his story did not pass muster with the receptionist.

He will not be getting a call back.

We just a call from "Will Jiggetts". He asked for my boss by name, when i asked him who he was with, he said "he'll know me"- my boss was on another phone call, and when i asked him a call back number he gave me the 866-403-2078 number and that he was with "First Republic"- he said he was returning a call and that he had spoke to my boss last week... my boss didn't know him and had not spoken with him.

I keep getting "Joe Martin" calls from this number. I have the feeling that they are mortgage brokers. You would have supposed that this kind of thing would have gone out with the mortgage market problems of the last few weeks, but apparently these folks are back at the same old stand, trying to scare up business. Wish they would find something better to do.

Just found that this number apparently also belonged, or belongs, to an outfit called Swindle Entertainment, which is hardly reassuring to people who get calls from there, is it?

why are you so hard on these people. they are trying to make a living !!!!

The problem is they are very dishonest. They need to simply say they what they are calling about instead of pretending to be the person's friend. Aren't they smart enough to realize we know our friends names? I realize telemarketing is not easy but they made the choice to go into that field so they need to respect people when they say please do not call again. On top of that when your ask to be removed from their call list it is illegal to call again.

Received a call at our office from a "Andy Perry", said he had talked to my boss several times before and that it was a personal call.  I took a message and hearing the 866 number I asked if he was calling from a business he simply said 'yes' and quickly tried to get off the phone after saying that my boss should give him a call back.  Yeah... right.

Mr. Camarary loves to  call my boss; apparently he doesn't use a check-off list.  He always indicates it is a personal call and that my boss knows who he is.  My first tip-off is he always asks for "Johnny" (my boss is not "Johnny", no friend or family has ever or would call him "Johnny").  I have had so many calls from him with the usual run-around, the last time he called I decided I would play his game for a while.  We went through the game of "twenty questions" and then I told him to stop playing games, stop wasting my time and his time, and I hung up.   Today Jim Walter called, asked for my boss or his voice mail; I said no voice mail; he gave me his number (the infamous 866-403-2078) and said he was a friend.  I told him he was not and hung up.

On my voice mail this morning, in a friendly tone of voice, as if he knows me: "Hi, Al, it's Mike Murphy.  Call me at the office, 866-403-2078."  I don't know a Mike Murphy.  I Googled the phone number and realized "Mike Murphy" is no friend of mine.
