- kilowatt| 17 repliesWas on phone at 8:52 PM, Jan 3, 011 but didn't hear it ring. Sure didn't recognize #.
- TMH| 17 repliesIt's XM Radio. I canceled my subscription a week ago and they have called every day since with a new offer to entice me back. Bugging the crap out of me is not the way to get me to renew.

- KLC| 1 replyWe received a call from this # last night and again this morning. We do not answer calls from numbers we don't recognize. Finding out this call is generated by XM radio makes sense. Starting 12-06-10 and the last one 12-20-10, we started getting calls from 1-888-245-4396. I logged 23 !!! calls in that 15 day period. I "googled" the number and found it was XM radio. We also received three calls from 1-877-683=1155 claiming to be a collection agency, but giving no other info as to where the supposed debt was owed. We have NO past due accounts. After "googling" that number, it turned out to be from XM radio also. We had let our XM radio drop on our Honda Pilot as we don't really drive it all that much. We have a current XM radio service on our Honda CRV, but after being hounded and falsely accused of owing money we do not owe, we are dropping the CRV's XM when the contract time is up. In their zeal to coerce us into renewing our Pilot's XM, they have lost us as customers on our CRV. Threatening that you are a collection agency to trick people into calling you back is just bad, bad business. "Google" the two other toll free numbers, 1-888-245-4396 and 1-877-683-1155 and you will find XM radio uses some really bad methods to try to keep customers.
Calling people at 8:00 am and 9:59 pm is no way to win customers back. We had to turn off our answering machine every night so their calls did not wake us up. They called from 1 to 3 times a day. Is it starting again? Clever of them to use different toll free numbers. These methods may work with some people, but most people will be put off by such tactics. CD's and FM radio are starting to look really good to us.
We will not answer these toll free numbers, but we will complain to the Better Business Bureau if they don't stop it soon. - Larrymnh replies to TMH| 11 repliesItoo canceled my xm prescription last month and back checked this # only to find that they want me back on xm. I will never use another company that says that even though they don't have my credit card # they will continue to bill me anyway. I guess they can't get the hint. A little too expensive for repeat after repeate of comedy and music and paying outrageous prices besides......thanks for the heads up!!!!!

- Chris replies to Larrymnh| 10 repliesI too am getting calls from XM. From 8am until 9pm and on weekends including Sundays 2 or 3 different numbers. I had a 3 year subscription that ran out recently so they called me to tell me that I owed them almost $400 to renew. They wanted a new credit card number and I said no way. I told them to cancel everything. They did but now they are telling me that I owe $20 for the 2 months that my subscription "rolled over". I understand they are rolling over to keep from interrupting service but need to let the customer know before hand or just to get permission to bill. I might have said ok at the time but I'm done with XM being treated like this. FM will be just fine. On one hand I don't want this thing to blow up in my face and start hurting my credit but on the other hand I can't see paying the $20 for a service that I canceled and do not want anymore. I was going to change my number anyhow so when I do I guess they won't be calling me anymore. If anyone has any advice on not paying a "roll over" amount of $20 to XM let me know. Thanks.
- DonI too have cancelled XM. I have ben getting calls at least once a day from this #. I have caller ID and do not answer. I GOOGLED the # and got XM.
- sandi| 1 replyI had Xm...I cancelled...I pay the bill and they say it is all paid up and then shut my radio off..I have had more trouble out of these people than it is worth. I truely think someone needs to report them, as their business practices are a little on the shady side.

- jj replies to TMHThey have called me for a week now. I canceled my subscription over a month ago. I have not answered any of the calls, since it is an 866 number. I am glad I looked this information up, so now I will not answer the call.
- former XM customerI just called their number 800-XM-RADIO (800-967-2346) and informed them they called me 25 times and I wished to be taken off their renewal list. What the rep did was deleted my number from my canceled XM account they had on file for me. We will see if that works.

- SteveThese jerks called me ON A SUNDAY!!!!!
Not a good way to win me back! - Laura55I cancelled my XM radio on Jan.18 , 2011 and since then they write me emails daily and tonight for the first time I received a call from 1-866 number...and at 8:40 p.m.! Never heard anything like that...
I mean if I cancelled--that means I had a reason and should be pressure free.- Caller: XM radio
- ConsumerA representative called yesterday, the name she gave was "Jennifer Williams." I got off the phone with yet another representative minutes ago; the name she gave was "Angela Bonner." I put these names in quotes because I do not know if these are real or fake names.
I told this last caller that the message was already received yesterday, to stop any future calls, and to remove our name and phone number off of their calling lists. Hopefully, this will put an end to these calls.- Caller: XM Satellite Radio
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ConsumerADDENDUM to my above message: Although the caller ID is 866-409-4196, the representative says that the call-back number is 866-963-4321, so watch out for this number as well.

- sally sue| 1 replyI got a call from this phone number every day for 3 weeks. I finally answered the phone and it was xm radio. I told them I wasn't interested. They stopped calling me. Now, two weeks later, they are calling me AGAIN. WTF??
- Auggie| 1 replyKeep getting calls from this company. I am in the national do not call list.

- PudinnI traded in a car with XM and got another one that had a 3 month free subscription. When I called to cancel the subscription that was on the car I traded in, they told me that I had 3 months and to CALL THEM BACK before the 3 months was up if I wanted to keep it in the new car. 2 days later I began receiving calls from an 866 #. I finally answered and it was XM. I told them not to call me and that when I made a decision I would call them back. I still had 2 1/2 months left on the 3 month free trial. They left me alone for 2 months. 2 weeks ago, I began receiving calls again. WHY ARE THEY CALLING ME LIKE I STOLE SOMETHING!!!! I have been receiving 2 to 3 calls a day and really am fed up. They won't leave messages and I won't answer. They fail to realize that calling people like is a turn off. Is this company losing money?

- TapsXM calls 4 times a day every day 10:00, 2:00, 6:00, and 8:00 after I cancelled my account. No one is ever on the phone if it is answered. They are simply harassing me because they have never left a message nor ever talked with me. Harassing former customers sounds like Howard Sterns' idea.

- hdlady replies to kilowatt| 7 repliesI just chewed them out big time cause we have been getting calls from them (this number) too with no messages left or anything or hung up upon when answered, late at night and early in the morning; but, bet they won't call here anymore, had to talk to a person from overseas to get to the root of it...it took 25 minutes to even get my point accross and ended up back in the USA...call 800-967-2346 for XM in USA to get off their list if you have unsubsribed. I could go on and on about this...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
