called the number back just added a 1 to it they were looking for someone called daniel morales..i told them that wasent me so they took me off the list

I received another call from this number again today.  They have called before  asking for Timmothy.  I have told them in the past thay have reached the wrong number.  They are calling me on my cell phone, not my home phone.  I am getting tired of this.

Received a call from this number put me oh hold for next representative  so I hung up they called me so why should i be then put on hold

I got a live person when I answered who would not divulge the nature of the call or their business.

The person spoke in an Indian Subcontinental accent and insisted that in spite of the fact, and after I informed him of the fact, that my number is registered with the Federal Trade Commission since Aug 09 and they have no, and have had no, business with me nor would they even identify themselves as businesses should in the CID and then verbally that he would continue to talk to me as if Federal Law meant nothing to him.

I called their "800 Service" identified number back and a woman with similar accent answered, connected me with a manager who, though he asked me to identify MYself, as if I had to, did find the phone person who had called me, without further information from me, whereupon the manager insisted that they had no need to:

1. Identify themselves
2. cease and desist from further calls
3. discontinue their sales or whatever kind of pitch it was
4. be aware of the law
5. observe the law
6 take cognizance of the fact of my phone number registry with the FTC
7 Ignore my PROMISE to sue them, based on all of the above.

Same as above. First called my cell, 2-3 x a day.  I finally picked it upa nd they asked for a  spanish name. Told them wrong phone number,  do not call and that the phone is registered with the FTC on the do not call list. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Now today, about a month later, they call again!!!
I guess I file another complaint, even though I have not heard back on the first complaint. No I can file for damages.

Company called my home line (vonage number that is about 6 months old here) on a nice peaceful Saturday morning.  I answered because I haven't messed with a telemarketer in some time now.  I good feel the silence of a robot dialer on the other end as soon as I answered.  I waited for about 5 seconds until a lady answered.  She tried for about 15 seconds to get me to talk, but I would only relent with some labored breating sounds.  She gave up.  I gave up. This is such an apathetic world we live in.  But who cares?

I get at least 1 call a day from this number on my cell phone...  At first no messages, now just backround talking...  If they don't leave a message about why they are calling, I will never call them back or answer their calls!!!

Keep calling, I don't answer have caller id and have read all the comments on this call that were posted on this website. I will not answer their calls from the info that was providedon this site.
I am on the do not call list but doesn't seem to affect these kinds of unwanted calls.

They don't realize phone companies recycle phone numbers. The person they are looking for is long gone from that number, but this still company keeps harassing new occupants.

I tried to call the number back and all I get is a message saying "the international call you are trying to make can not be completed as dialed" I do not anwer the phone when they call anymore because the first three times I did they are looking for a diffrent person every time. I feel that it is a scam and they are looking for your personal information. I did not give them out any personal information when asked and hung up.

If it is a international call might as well forget about that your phone is registered with the FTC on the do not call list, for the reason caller is calling from outside the United States. In which they have no control on who calling you only in the States can they do something been there.. that is what I was told by an Operator.

They call and hang up 1st to 2nd ring everytime. Very annoying.

Call at least once a day. Noone every answered when I picked up the line. Now they just leave hang-ups on my machine.

i kept getting calls from this number. don't call it back. that's what they want you to do. i called it back and got charge $7 for calling china. it's a scam.

I would think these people would have better things to do with their time than to call over and over and make a nuisance of theirselves.

Debt collectors are exempt from the FTC no-call lists.  They are not attempting to solicit, they are attempting to collect a debt.  Northland Group is a bottom-feeder third-party collection agency that buys really old debts.  Half the time, the accounts they're collecting on are very close to the end of statute of limitations, and they're desperate to find the actual debtor.

Good luck getting rid of them.

I keep getting calls from this debt collector for another person with the same last name. The debt collector must go down the phone book and call people in the area with the same last name. I have had my # for 15 years. The debt collector is Northland Group, 7831 Glenroy Road suite 250, Edina, Mn. 55439. Back in Feb when they called I sent a letter telling them not to call again. That worked up until July. They call 15 times a week.

If you do owe a debt then this WILL NOT work. The only way to stop the collection calls is to start paying. As long as you pay a minimum of 5.00$ /month they are legally not allowed to call and harass you, your family, your job etc. I do owe a debt to them and have since started sending in a payment of 10/month and all calls have ceases as I'm "attempting" to repay the debt owed of me.

I just wanted to clarify for everyone that it applies only to telemarketers not creditors as many seem to think and I once did as well. They cannot call and sell you anything they can however call in an attempt to collect a debt owed of you.
