1-866-418-9055 calls almost every morning at 8:30 AM. There is never anyone on the line.

called it back....some lady answered. so I hung up and called back about 12 times and did the same thing to the same lady.think i'll do it again tomorrow

LMAO I did the same thing 5 times, some lady answered she kept getting more and more pissed.

Do this:

Sign up for a VOIP account at Lingo.  (It's only $25/month and they have an AWESOME feature that allows you to re-direct harassing calls to ANY NUMBER.)
You can use your existing telephone number (transfer it to Lingo).
Collect the incoming harassment call numbers.
Using the Advanced Call Forwarding feature have all the asshol*s calls forwarded to the local FBI office, or the US Department of Homeland Security or some number where the caller gets charged a huge per-minute rate... (get creative) you get the idea.
SIt back and enjoy your new-found peace and quite.

After I thought the company finally learned they had the wrong phone number, I received another call from this number.  Now with a prerecorded message "this is not a sale call. We're calling about the letter we sent."  Message continues identifying the Company as FRS, gives an address, office hours, and "Please call back"  or "leave your name, number..."

For a collection agency, they certainly have bad information!

They called a few times and asked to speak to Ned.  Twice they were told there is no Ned at this number, I didn't know a Ned, and to quite calling.  The third time after giving the same spiel of no Ned, I told the caller my phone number was on the "Do Not Call" list since implementation.

Then the woman explained they were a collection agency... and they didn't understand how my last name,phone number,address, etc. was on this record for another individual...and asked again if I knew of a Ned!

Called from my work phone (I work in a different state!!) and didn't say anything. Lady answered and was ticked, said she had the number now so would call back and not say anything, and kept repeating something like hoot and owl?

I don't get it haha, but she can have fun reaching the company's automated directory, I'm not on it. :)

Called and would not talk to me

have been getting calls from this number for months, the numerous persons calling ask for a david linquist. my husband and i have told them repetedly that they have the wrong number because we have had this number for over thirty years and there has never been a david at this number. many times they have promised to remove our number from their files but as of today july 14, 2008 it has not been done. the caller keeps telling us that this davids mother says this is his number. how can we end this harrassment?

Called many times.  About 15 times during a period of less than 2 days

rec'd call, no one there, they must have nothing better to do, wish they would quit calling tho...............

Keep calling my cell phone, but no one is there when I pick up.  I've called them on numerous occasions to ask them why they are calling.  They never immediately identify their company.  They are looking for someone named Tammy Morrison....who I am not.  Each time they say they will remove my number, but everyday they call again.  One person even hung up on me while I was asking for the name of the person I should speak to in the future if they don't take me off their list.  I have spoken to a police officer in my area and asked him if he knows anything about this as I had checks stolen recently and he is working our case.  He says these people are bottom feeders.

They keep calling me looking for a Christina Moore.  I am not Christina Moore...I am Christie Moore - Christie (not short for Christina, Christianna etc...you get the idea).  Told them several times I am not Christina Moore.  The caller even asked if my last 4 digits of my social were 4041.  I told her no!  That is not the last 4 of my digits.  I told them they had the wrong person.  Yet, they keep calling.

repeated calls at all hours, never any message. How do you find out who it is from?

This number keeps calling me everyday over 10 day.  WHO IS IT

They called for my daughter, I explained she DID not live here, so she insisted that my daughter used out number fraudentle, which she has had mail come here, and they used that address with her name and got out number! I told her that I would take a message and she was rude so I told her to F.O and not to call here again, she was a real [***], this is about a debt my daughter owes and she has gone through consumer credit to pay off these debts and when these jerks do not get their money, they call me and harass me!
