Got a call from this number with an automated message that stated first and last name, along with a case file number and a request to call back at 1-866-424-4753. Collections????

I got a call from this number today claiming to be a law firm and requesting that i call back!?!?!

my sister did too, today.
any ideas?

Called regarding some membership owing. Can't find them on Google, which seems rather odd. Asked weird questions.

I got a call from them on my cellular phone with a phone number and file number requesting I call back.  I did and left a message...not sure what it is about.

Could you tell me if they were a collection agency?

We got a call in West Toronto.  

I called my Rogers rep - she advised THIS IS A FRAUD. It actually happened to her parents. Don't give out any personal info. Report this message to your local police, fraud and/or phone busters.

They are pretending to be a law firm/collection agency.

i got a call today (Oct. 17) in Ottawa, Ontario. same messege as everyone else. im going to contact the police and report it. ill post a new messege regarding what they tell me

called phone busters at 1 888 495 8501. i left the phone number and ex.2 as well as my "case file". im told it is fraud and ask to be kept informed

I received this call a few minutes ago, and right before this one, I got a call from 1-416-224-1484.

I just got a call from the same number, saying they are a law firm, its really freaking me out. Do you know what it is?

I got a call, same as everyone else.  They said it was a law firm, I left a message.  Told them I'd need more information if they expected me to call back.  I didn't hear back from them.  I'm going to report them.  Sounds like fraud.

I'm in the Toronto area, they called my cell phone.  They must have my number through Rogers, because they used the short form of my name which my bill is under.

I got this same call on Friday.  It had me worried also.  I did not call back, I looked them up on the net and found the above information.
