Keep getting calls at all hours of the day asking for a Leah Cables (sp?). This is a recorded message asking you to call back

gave me an id code to call back about someone who else had this phone# over 8 years ago. I am sure Its one of these ZOMBIE bad credit chaseres. A special thanks goes out to Verizon.

Keep getting calls asking for Carter DeVerna, almost daily.  Automated call that asks for a return call and gives a code to enter in when you call back.

Calling all hours of day and night for some name I can't even pronounce. Recorded message leaves an ID number and phone number for me to call back.

keep getting a fax tone form an auto dialer.  This number comes up on caller id.

Calls come at all hours of the day informing me they have an important message for Sherry T. Moore (who does not and never did live here) and that I should refer to caller #Y36739.

I finally called, angry, demanding they remove my number.  The womoan, who I could barely understand told me not to rude, asked for the number I wanted removed, the hung up on me.

My legal name is William, my friends call me Bill. These jokers are calling me as if it is a legal matter such as unpaid bills. But Bill S. (last name withheld) has no legal bills. The only bills I undertake are under the name William S.

Bill S. sounds like something I use on junk websites.

Calling day and night. No one there, just a message to call them . .

Typical Junk Debt bottom feeders.

They have your number because you or someone that previously had your number has debt that is past the satute of limitations. The only real way
to get them to stop is send a letter registered mail - return receipt telling them to cease and desist.

As so many before have stated, the call references debt collection and gives a number to call back with an ID.  However, on this Sunday morning when I try to return the call the "automated" answering system has hung up on me at least 7 times now.  I suspect I know what they are calling about because there is somebody in this area that has unpaid debt that has the same first/last name as me and I've gotten calls for them before.

I just received a message from them this Sunday literally 5 mins ago.  Called back a number of times and no one picks up. I just get disconnected. I suspect someone else with the same name as I is on their list or something.  Would not be the first time some debter has contacted me thinking I was this other person with the same first and last name. So with my suspecision I googled the number and found this website.

We have had this same company call at all hours over the past year.  We have been able to make contact back two times before and the reason for them contacting us, sometimes in a threatening manor, is because of my first initial and last name in one case, and our phone number linked to bad debt from 10 to 12 years ago (we have had our number 2.5 years).  Just received another call an hour ago, as described above.  The best way to deal with them is to contact your State Attorney General Office and complain about these low-lifes who go off half-cocked with old and very incomplete information.  If enough of us complain, we may hope to end this abuse and harassment.

These people have been calling intermittently for about three years now, and the automated message either asks for someone who does not live here or says in a threatening manner that I need to call them back.  I can't ever get through to them to explain that they have the wrong number--I always get disconnected.  I don't know how they would expect the actual debtor to get in touch with them, so it's just a complete waste of time and energy and it frustrates the hell out of me.

They called on a Saturday afternoon, didn't have my name, but said they were a collection agency and had to let us know we have a debt, Which is a lie. We keep all ours bills paid in this house. If they were really calling for someone in this house, they should of used our names and maybe we would of believed them.

This number keeps calling at least 3 times a day particularly in the morning and its always a recorded message looking for a certain Martin Johnson about a personal business matter.  Its pestering.

I received a call from this number at around 6:30PM, they did not leave any sort of message but I called back. I reached an operator and told her that I recieved a call from this number. She asked if they left an id number and I said no. She asked for my telephone number to see if any records would pull up and none did...and then she asked for my social security number! Clearly, I refused and I asked her what they needed it for, and the operator could not tell me what sort of company this is or what they do and just said they were a collection agency.
I told her that I am a 17 year old and this was my personal cell phone so I could not imagine what they wanted with me or how they got my phone number...that seemed to make the operator put me on hold. And i've been on hold for the past five minutes.
I believe this number has called me before, during school and other untimely hours. It's very ANNOYING.
