First of all, my phone # is on the National Do Not Solicit Registry.  I Just received a call from a pushy, fast-talking telemarketer that wanted to send me a free $40 gas card.  She kept insisiting I purchased something online, radio or tv that qualified me for their program.  I had to aggressively interrupt her several times in order say that I wasn't interested.  I again asked her how she got my information & she said she didn't have access to that information, but suggested I call (727) 712-0382.  I asked her to take me off their mailing list & her response was it would take up to 72 hours.  When I called the number she provided, I was immediately put on hold & disconnected after 1-2 minutes.  My caller ID showed the call came from (866) 280-4252.  When I called this number, it goes straight to a recorded message that gave you options (one of which was to be taken off their mailing list-DO NOT select because it just confirms your phone # is active) & a different number to customer service:  (866) 434-6600, which I didn't bother calling.  By the way, when you do call these numbers, none of them are answered with an identifying company name.

I received a call last Friday (6/20/2008), and the telemarketer started a pushy sales speech about a $40.00 free gas card, blah, blah, blah.  The number that came up on my cell phone was 1-866-280-4252.  I told him that my CELL phone was on the National Do Not call registry, that I was not interested and DO NOT call back.  I received a call on Saturday and most recently today, Monday at 2:15 pm Pacific Time.  A different pushy telemarketer started on the same speel.  Before I cut him off, I decided to get as much information from him as I could.  He said he was from "Quality Resources" offering a $40.00 gas card for a $1.00 30 day trial membership for a savings program.  It started confirming my bankcard number and street address.  I stopped him mid sentence and asked him where he got my information from.  He said it was from a marketing partner. I insisted that he told me which "marketing partner" and he said that he did not know.  I then asked him how he got my bankcard number and he said that he only had my last 4 number of my bank card, which it bull puckey because if I agreed to the one month membership for a dollar, they would have to put my 16 digit bankcard number.  These guys need to be stopped.  They are calling numbers that are on the national do not call registry, they have personal information without that person's knowledge, they are offering bogus gas cards and are just plain rude.  They have not heard the end of it from me!!!!!!!!!!   @#$%

I got a 5th call from them over about a 2 month period, after asking to go on the do not call list every time, so I reported them to the BBB. Just FYI, I called the 866-434-6600 number after hours and the recording answered "Opti-Life". I looked them up, and they are part of Quality Resources in Clearwater, FL. The Opti-Life website mentions vitamins. I've ordered vitamins online before, not from them, but I don't know if that is the "marketing partner" that gave them our info or what. Either way, I don't care-- I just don't want any more calls from them, and if this is a scam, I'd like to see them stopped. Hope they stop bothering everyone else and me, too. They had 60 complaints with the BBB in the last 36 months. We'll see if reporting them makes any difference. Good luck.

I made a purchase from Safe Home Products (www.safehomeproducts.com)  and they sold my info.  Here's how I know:   I called them from my work phone to "confirm" my order.  The next day the endless calling started.  This was the only place I have ever called outside my office on my work phone.  Safe Home Products sells your info.

Don't buy anything from SafeHomeProducts.  I bought an air purifier from them for about $215 (now its $225) + $20 shipping + $28 return postage and insurance.  What a piece of junk.  After much to-do I finally got $215 back, but so far I'm still out $48 for shipping and return shipping!

Can you believe it?  They sell junk and I wind up paying all the shipping!

So all of you know, I got the XJ3000C SurroundAir model, which I later found is sold by the manufacturer for $125 or so + free shipping.  Plus I saw someone say you can buy their returned models on ebay for $50.

I strongly say "DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SAFEHOMEPRODUCTS!"  but if you must then at least go to ebay and buy it, use paypal to pay, and hopefully you won't lose too much money.

SafeHomeProducts acted quite arrogant with me, saying that their "policies" are this, and that, and whatever.  Their website omits the FACT that the UV lampholders ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE 3 YR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY.  (I found out only after reading the paper-copy of the warranty info that came with the air purifier.)  Like I told SafeHomeProducts:  To omit that exclusion from your website is DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING.  Then they stopped replying to my email.

Oh, just want to clarify:  I wouldn't buy that XJ3000C for _any_ price!

I returned it to SafeHomeProducts because the thing is junk in my opinion.

I found out about the SurroundAir (the manuf.) selling it for $125 or so from a coworker, weeks after I had returned it.

So, shop carefully on the Internet, and use your credit card with great discretion.  After they have your card number and stuff, they think the money is theirs.

YES!!! I got the same call she said she had my amex number and thats when I got pissed !!! I asked her how she had my credit card number and the response was the same as other peoples', a marketing partner.  I told her she should not call people unwanted and threaten to use their credit card without permission.  That's when she got mad and hung up n me!!! This is B.S.  how do we make them stop???

Same as above, Rhonda Ward was her name that called me from so-called "quality Resources". she actually called from 727-712-0382. Somebody got a hold of my CC info and is selling it to these bogus companies to rip me off. ie.. Googlprofits, FedgrantUSA, etc....
I suggest if you got a call from them and they have your info cancel that card now.

They still keep doing it. Got 2 calls from 727-712-0382. Knew right off the bat they were scammers, but when they said the city I lived in and had the last 4 digits of my CC number, that is when I got pissed. Plus, they say that, along with the gas vouchers, you get some 30 free trial for some savings program that will automatically bill you $24.95. I know from dealing with other things that programs like that have to be authorized by the CC holder beforehand, of which I know I didn't do, so that may all be bogus, but the CC # and city were real. I plan on calling their "customer service" number on Monday, but I may now need to cancel this CC. Good thing I was thinking of doing it anyway.

this number along with two other numbers 727-712-0152 and 2697682621 are SCAMS!!  I ordered one of thos popular "fushigi" balls for a family member, they are on back order, but the website either sells or assists with this scam!!!  They used my c card to make purchase, I stopped the card, notified my credit union...they had the phone number already on file as a "fraudulent number" and were advsing members to file a complaint with the federal trade commision and to get new account numbers (mac and cc# both).  The funny thing is, I got an email stating the item was cancelled due to overwhelming demand of supply, and hour later a call from the 727 number asking me for my "new" credit card information!!!!!! The guy wanted me to "spit out that crazy long number on the front of the card"........exactly what he said!!!!!!!! I told him I wanted off of their call list and that I would be filing a complaint and he hung up....please be careful!!!!!!!!!! good lck all!

i bought a shake weight and got a call from this bogus gas promotion and told them i didnt want it and to cancle it and she didnt seem to have a problem with it , but she did try to push it on me pretty good but i got pissed and said cancle the Fing thing ! haha

I ordered a cami- secret product and received  a call from this number . It was a pushy telemarketer. I insisted they do not send me any thing in the mail and not to call again. I do not want these people to have my information.

I called the above # and it is bogus. I called the company I originally ordered from and cancelled my order and received new phone numbers from them. 1-800-475-1942 1-800-476-1942 and 1-800-448-0166. I called and demanded to know how they got my information and was unable to get any info from them. Operator kept saying they did not have my info and to call back in 72 hours. I reported them to the Ohio Attorney General Office and filed a complaint.

Got a call from the 866-434-6600 # a day after ordering a veggie slicer.  Sasid they had only the last four digits of my credit card and wanted to me to "verify" my cc # by me giving them the entire number.  I refused to do this, but said I would be happy to if they could give me a number to call, and after much ado she agreed to give me a number, and guess what number that was....866-434-6600,  They had also offered a gas card of $100. and the same old promotion crap mentioned in all the above comments, again "If I was pleased it would be automatically taken from my cc at $29.95 a month.  So glad I have been told NEVER give my cc # to anyone who calls ME  Sure felt like I was being scammed.

For the record, Safe Home has never, ever sold any customer's data.  We also have no relationship with (or knowledge of) whoever is/was operating the 866 number referenced in this thread.

We assume that 'tacos' is referring to a real issue and that his/her intention in making this post was not to defame us.  If so, we invite him/her to contact us toll-free at (877) 358-0900 and we would be happy to work together to file a complaint with the appropriate authorities about whatever 'tacos' is referencing.  (It may be too late for this case since apparently the incident occurred in mid 2008, but please do know that we never did sell any customer's information.)

ordered pet product from tv..began getting calls from fl...by accident, i was making a call when this fl number caught me..big old long speech about gas voucher and savings club. then transferred to second person who repeated the same spiel and then asked for the entire cc number (they had the last 4 digits) RED FLAG...when i told him i was not comfortable with that he asssured me that info was private...sure....i repeated that i was not interested and hung up...then looked up "customer service" number and landed here...sure am glad i followed my instincts...

Do not purchase a FUSHIGI!!  They give your number out to third party scam companies such as this one.  The person who called me said they were from Fushigi and wanted to verify my order.  They gave me my name, address, phone number and the last four of my credit card.  They gave me shipping details stating that my order would arrive shortly.  Then they asked me if I would like to receive a $100 gas card for looking at a 'budget savers' program.  She then asked for my credit card information.  When I hesitated to give it to her she said, but you just made a purchase with us so we will need to verify that information again.  Ends up she was not calling from Fushigi, it was a scam.  I fault Fushigi for sharing purchasing information with fraudulent third party companies such as Quality Budget Savers, QRI, Budget Savers, and Membership Services.  All of these numbers are from fraudulent companies:  1-727-712-0152, 1-800-475-1942,  1-866-434-6600.  Do not give them your credit card information!

claimed I purchased some wrinkle cream for under my eyes and was trying to verify I did, when I denied it, he kept asking for personal information, I stopped and he directed me to call 866-434-6600. He offered to transfer me and I hung up.  I was online and googled the number I found this site and thus this email/message.

I received a call stating that I had purchased an Instyler (hair curler)and that they have charged my credit card .   I did not purchase no such thing.  I called this number ( 866) -434-6600 to let them know that I had not knowledge of such order and it was a lot of background noise and they hung up on me.

Received a call on Friday, May 20th 2011 regarding an order which I placed for Fastbrite Lens Restorer.  I never ordered the product, but when they called my unlisted number, the Customer Service person knew my full name, address and the last 4 numbers on my credit card!!   I told him I never ordered anything from them at all and asked how they had all of my personal information.  I was told to call 1-866-434-6600 on Moday and ask their Billing Dept........THERE IS AND WAS NO BILLING DEPT!  Even spoke to 3 so-called"supervisors" who could not give me information about how my personal information was obtained by them!!    This is a scam so that the customer will give out the complete credit card number!!!  Just so happened that I ordered something from a shopping channel and I know that is where this Company got my information from illegally and without my consent!!  When I did speak to someone at this Plymouth Products Company, I was told that they were not affiliated with anyone and that I had to have called them and given them my information!  That was a lie and they knew it.
