Text from this number offering free $50 Target gift card

Is it legit?  Anyone try it?

I just a text also offering a $50 gift card from Target.

I just got a text from this number offering a $50 gift card from Target.  Who is this?

Just got another text for a $50 Gift certificate to Target. First number was 347-534-5125, second number was347-26 -2857.  Who are these people?  I'm very careful about giving out my phone number.

I called the number back on my internet phone number. They same they are a wholesale magazine club and dollar savings club. They want your name, address etc. They said they wanted my name to "address me properly" yeah right, I'm going to give them that. Just remember - do not say anything that sounds like "yes" so no "okay, that's right, or uh uh"

unwanted call and text from 3022602964 informing me I am pre selected for a $50 target card. Please call 8664452808

I asked the guy the name of his company and he said it was Protection Junction Legal Club, which sounds all kinds of phoney.

Oh, and I got the number from the same text everyone else got - claiming I had a free $50 Target Card.  Text came from 347 268-8257, instructed me to call 866 445 2808

i got a text from a different number (302 260 2964) saying i won a target gift card and to call this number to claim it. i didn't call or text back

Warning to everyone! Do not call because they will lie and say, "oh sorry you were too late, but why not try joining this club?" Then they will say you will send $200 but you have to pay $9.99 for shipping and handling (why they hell would you pay shipping and handling for money?). Then they will ask for your credit card # and your shipping address and other personal stuff... And if you subscribe (which costs $39.99 monthly fee and $99.99 annual fee) they say that they will offer you a bunch of boloney. So in summary, they say you won a $50 gift card to Target, then they change the subject and convince you to give away your credit card # for something else... wtf

I got a text today around noon "You have been preselected to receive $50 Target Gift Card.  Pls call 866-445-2808.  This was from 347-268-8257.  I didn't answer, but I'm sure it some type of scam.

Same as everyone else.  $50 Target gift car.  Yada yada yada...

so i got a text from 866-514-6635 that said i had won a $50 gift card. i called it back and they then said that i had won a $200 gift card to Target all i had to do was pay for shipping and handling!!! crazy! they wanted my credit card number! And once i confronted them about what i had read on here the girl i was talkin to immediately HUNG UP!!! how crazy do they think i am. plus how the heck did they get my cell number?! this place is really fishy and i really dont think they are legit! SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY OR DO WITH THIS SO CALLED "COMPANY"!!!

I work for them, so that's why initially I thought okay maybe this text is legit, but then the person I spoke to said that I would also get identity theft coverage(ironic), and $200. This just confirmed the fraud.

Obvious scam. Claimed a partner company gave my phone number to them and refused to tell me what company. Ignored my request to speak to a supervisor. insisted on getting my name and address and offered me a $200 package of specials.

When I first told them I wanted to speak to a supervisor they told me the call was being recorded. They hung up when I insisted on speaking to a supervisor.

The phone number that sent me a text message was 212-991-8539.  They are offering me a $50 Target gift card.  SCAM!

Got the same text saying I was preselected for a $50 gift card to Target and to call 866-445-2808.  The text came from 347-703-9569.  I'm thinking they got one of those Magic Jack type numbers so they can text people with their local area codes.  I'm not going to call or text back.  Thanks to those who did call to confirm this is a SCAM!
