They wanted a someone that did have this number once I guess, they called the other day too.  Just listed as a different number.

I recieved a call from this number and when I called them back they said they were some off the wall company calling on behalf of continental finance. I looked it up and it is a credit card company... They said I had I had a record with them...I don't have credit cards, so how would I have a record with them? I asked them not to call me anymore, now if that works or not, who knows.

Unknown number constantly calling me. The number they are calling is a prepaid number and I dont answer numbers that I dont know or have anything to do with.

Have received numerous (more than twenty) calls from this number. Evidently someone used my phone number as theirs when applying for a loan. A call center is used for collections, evidently this person is not paying their bill. I have talked to several call center employees to no avail.

This is Continental Finance calling. They get on my nerves! I have a credit card with them, but they charge astronomical fees. So I have decided to cancel my card with them. Well they call my job and when I answer they don't say anything, so I hang up. Then within seconds they call my cell phone, which I don't answer because I'm not wasting daytime minutes, and they don't leave a message. And when I get home I see their phone number on my caller ID with the same time they called my work and cell phone. I'm filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This number calls me every day of the week, starting at/around 8:15 in the morning until about 9 at night.  I do have a Continental Finance card and made my payment, just not enough for the minimum due and am under my limit?????

Calls every day of the week and some times calls twice a day. They let it ring 2 or 3 times then hang up. If the caller ID comes up unknown or private I don't answer. looking at others that have received calls from this number, it is a finance company. I have never done any business with a finance company in the last 18 years. It's time to complain to the Gov. but that could be a waste of my time.

this number began calling me 1x a day about a month ago, calling me usually between 8am and 10am

I have REPEATEDLY told them to stop calling me, well, now they're calling me 2x or more a day.  They even call me on the weekends.  This past Sunday they called me at 9pm! This is HARASSMENT!!!!
It never ends!  I'm about ready to get my cell number changed.

I don't have a credit card with this company, but I think they want me to get one.

It never ends! 1x a day was bad enough, but 2x is outrageous.

Nothing works with these people!!

I have done the following:
1. rejected the call
2. answered and yelled at them to stop calling
3. threatened to go to the police about harassment
4. called them back and harassed them, telling them to stop calling me.

NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!!!

they keep calling all the time,i asked them to stop but they won't. i am getting so annoyed. it's always them calling so i just don't look at the phone any more. it doesn't matter which number you use, they find it. i swear the next time they call i'm going to do something about it.

it dosen't matter if you change the number, they will find it and keep calling. u might want to try one of those pay-as-u-go phones, they are un-trackable

I receive calls from them five to ten times a day.  I signed up for one of their credit cards and immediately canceled due to outrageous rates.  When I answer there is no response, when I call back music plays.

It is impossible to get in touch with this company, even when they call you.

And they never leave a message.  I am seriously done !  I have finally resulted in opening my cell phone up and just letting it lay there until someone hangs up on their end.

These people drive me nuts!!!  they call atleast 10 times a day and i have cancelled my account with them.

Got 1 call 2 days ago. Just got the phone 4 days ago.
Today 4 calls so far. Caller ID shows up as Restricted but its same number.

The one solution that I use for these types of calls, it to add them
to your phone book and set them up with a fancy 'silent' ringtone.
 
That number will never 'bother' you again.

I have a card with them but after I paid my first bill I canceled the card due to the outrageous fees.  They keep calling my work after I have repeatedly told them to stop calling.  They actually told me, "Just you telling us to cancel the card is not going to stop us from calling you."

They have called me at least twice a day for the last three weeks.  I called the number back and spoke to a person who took my phone number out of their system.  It supposedly takes 24-48 hours to be inactivated.  The man mentioned that they use computers to call people and that is why no one ever says anything when you answer.  Apparently, someone by the name of Tonya used it to open an account with them.  I am also in the process of filing a police report for harassing phone call to get the cell phone company to block the number.
