SCAM!!!!!!!- Caller: ACS?
- MICKEY replies to SusieI believe is ACS legal using another number. If you ever applied for a payday loan, this is probably how they got your number. Don't call back or they will continue to harass you.
SCAM!!!!! - InterestingI have received three different phone calls from this phone number today with no VM left; I have reported the phone number to the FTC and DNC complaints. Tired of these kinds of calls. Next thing I will do is add the phone number to my blocked call listing.
- Caller: ?
- TommyLeft a VM on my home phone and ALSO called my mother in laws home # as well...
They did not say who they were BUT did leave a message that I must call them immediately as this is a private legal matter.
I took out and paid in full my payday loans but every once in a while I receive these messages.
How can we stop these scam artists with their electronic wizardry SPOOFING #'s and the like.
The FTC DOES NOTHING and the BBC is also a joke - MikeScam [***]
- cinderella| 1 replyi got a message on my voice mail to respond immediately or legal action would be taken stating it was an attempt to collect a debt. the message was an electronic voice. As I keep up on my credit report I was concerned ... what debt. I did return the call and spoke to a person. The first name was correct, the last name was not correct. After confirming my telephone number the person I spoke to asked if **/**/**** was my birthday. It was not. i did receive an apology. I decided to google this number and found this site. I really do not feel any better. WTH!!

PAYDAY LOAN SCAM- Caller: ACS
- Call type: Debt collector
- mSCAM I got a call this morning from automated voice re a legal matter, needing a statement, or a statement will be created for me. Threat to proceed with legal matter unless I contact them.. They stop and then start up again relentlessly to my work ext. and cell at the same time. Did take out a payday loan years ago and paid it off on time at the location...these types of calls started ever since. When I have talked to someone they refuse to say what the original debt is or give any contact info for their company-just want info from me, i.e. soc. sec#; udpated contact info; etc. and of course...a check by phone payment! NOPE! I screen all my calls now.
- Call type: Debt collector
- fire dogJust another bunch of overseas idiots who have bought information from somewhere on the payday loan world. Don't confirm anything with them or even talk to them unless you want to play with them. They cannot legally serve you with any papers by phone or email. Process servers will just show up at your door.
I told them to go ahead and fly out to where I lived and I would meet them at the airport terminal. However, I then said I would be the one with the handcuffs and officers to arrest you for violation of several federal statutes. Big CLICK on the phone. Stops them for awhile but they buy another VOIP connection and start again.
Lots of luck DUMBA++++s- Call type: Debt collector
- CindyThis is a fraudulent collection agency. We had a payday loan many years ago before we had a bankruptcy. We have contacted the company of the payday loan (which was Cashnet USA) they said to not give them anything. That they closed the account years ago and were abiding by federal bankruptcy laws.
These companies keep calling and threatening us with arrest (my husband is a police officer and knows this is illegal) and everytime we ask them for information to sue them, they put us on hold for a long time. They change their name everytime they call. And are very harassing.- Caller: Change their name everytime
- Call type: Debt collector
- LauraI just got a call from someone at this number looking for Bobby Mitchell. When I told the woman who answered I was not him nor did I know him the woman asked me if I was Laura. I said yes. She told me he has me listed as his wife then she started asking me if I knew certain family members. I told her it was irrelevant she told me she would not remove my number. Scam trying to find other people. I blocked them.
- Caller: ACS

- CWG40Long history of scams with ACS. Sometimes they are Indian scammers; sometimes they are domestic. This number is domestic, possibly located in Clearwater Florida. BBB does not show an address.
Either way, ignore them. Block their calls.
* File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
* File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).
They continue to bother you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.- Caller: Informational (such as it is) post
- andymany calls and messages citing an important legal matter needs attention for a person I don't know.
