Well I didn't get to the phone in time but when I listened to my voicemail the "robot" was already going off giving me the number to call saying if i didn't call them back they would have me arrested for fraud. I am a cop... I'd love to see them try arrest me for nothing and also call me again so I can confront them about it.

Fortunately call blocking software is available to filter out ridiculous scammers such as these.

It's funny that the originating comment was about a person being arrested for taking out a loan and not paying it back.  In a sense, committing fraud.  The call I received was for a loan application that I submitted online (I did not) and providing me with another number to call should I decide I want to proceed with the application process.  (I do not)

So the scam works out by (1) having your application and pretending to get you qualified for a loan and then (2) trying to collect against it.  Wise up people, applying for loans online may be quick and easy but there is a price to be paid for the convenience.

Received a call from 866-450-3185.   The caller id said 'Out of Area'.   I never answer calls from numbers I don't know.  They didn't leave a message.

left a message with a number, couldn't understand the [***]. something about wanting to take out a loan. also has a website. said to press 2 if you don't want them to call. this is a scam

Just called my cell now - I never answer if I don't recognize the number - no voicemail either

This caller called about 6 different times saying i was approved a 10.000. Dollar loan and left an  approval code , i never applied for a loan very annoying total scam ,

receive calls daily. they tell me I am approve for a loan. I tried to call the number back to tell them stop calling me. Phone was always busy

I got a call telling me I was approved for a 10,000 dollar loan. I did not apply for this. For one moment I thought um how great but then I told myself look into it even more. They never answered there phones and when you go to there website none of the links work. That is when my guard really was up. This is a scam. They took the really credit unions page and took the information off of it to make there's look like it.

Exactly.  This is what they are doing now.  Make you think that you took out a loan and then, try to extort by harassing phone calls to you, relatives and place of work.  Call blocking software is essential in this day and age of identity theft.

They have been threatening to arrest me now for 3 years, haven't shown up yet!

This number REPEATEDLY calls asking me if I want a loan. I continue to tell them to take me off their call list. When I call they tell me they are going to report me to the FBI. HA!!!! Really???? For calling THEM BACK! EXTREMELY ANNOYING AND JUST NON STOP HARASSMENT.

This was my call number for a loan...had a hard time understanding her.  left a voicemail.  I'm in no position for a loan from someone I did not originate with!!  SCAM

My wife got a text message with an approval code and she was pre-approved for 10K. Researched the bank, First Financial Credit Union is a small bank in New Mexico with about nine branches. I had my wife call them and ask about this promotion, they knew nothing about it and said that was definitely not them. I had my wife call the 866-450-3185 number and ask them for their routing number, they promptly gave it to her. The joys of the internet!!! I Googled the routing number. They gave us the routing number to WELLS FARGO! I would advise anyone to stay FAR, FAR away from 866-450-3185. If you get an offer that seems tempting - Google, Yahoo, Bing, or whatever search engine you use will prove to be your best friend

I received several calls from 866-450-3185.  The caller left messages identifying herself as Anna working for Ford Financial Credit.US (aka website, link does not work - brings up multiple sites of Ford dealerships).  She announced that I had been approved for a 10K loan that I did not apply for.  After reading the responses on this site, I believe it is a SCAM!!!

This number calls me 5-6 times a week. Thank goodness I have a answering machine-they never leave a message but I have their number. I will not call them back--If they want to reach me that badly then they should leave a message. I am a victim of ID theft and have a BK so I wouldn't qualify for a loan anyway like these other's are saying that it is a loan company or a fake loan company.
We should as tax payers get our Congressmen and women to do something about these types of calls...

Same thing. They left a voicemail saying 'if you would like to take advantage of this offer...' Yeah blocked

They called me but the number that came up on my phone was 1(619)568-2414 telling me I was approved for a loan with the loan number telling me to call the 866-450-3185 number to claim it or go to their website but I couldn't even understand what they said their website was. I never applied for a loan but they keep calling and calling!
