866-451-8939 is actually Continental Finance. A stupid credit card company that I got hooked up with. This is a card for people trying to re-establish credit and they have ridiculous restrictions, fees, and finance charges. Don't sign up for this card if you can help it. They call and harass you about your due date and paying your bill. I pay my card off every month and they still insist on calling and asking me when I plan to make a payment.

I want to get rid of the card but it would affect my credit rating to show a closed account as opposed to a monthly low balance with no lates.

    You can't win!!!!

I've been getting calls from this number for a few weeks now and until I read other comments had no idea it was from Contential Fianance company.  I too have a credit card through them but I've always paid my bill on time.  They are very persisitant and make you feel bad when you cannot pay the bill 3 weeks in advance.  They are worse than a collection agency with their call tactics even though you have done nothing wrong and are not late.  The phone calls are really annoying because it will only ring once and then they hang up.  They do this numerous times every day, even on the weekends.  I agree with the other person & do not get a credit card through this company if you can help it!  They will suck you and hold you hostage for as long as you have the card!

Please DO NOT give your bank info to this company calling from # 866-451-8939. I have an account with Continental Finance, but I do not think it is them! I recieved a letter in the mail from Continental Finance about 2-3 months ago, saying one of they're empolers had sold my informtion to other companies. Ever since then I have been getting calls from supposibly "Continental Finance" Asking for my bank account information, so I don't have a late payment. However, 2 out of the last 3 months when it came close to my payment due date (when they already had the payment & my check was cleared!) We're still asking for the payment. Trust no one! Don't give out any imnformation.

These guys are ridiculous! They say it's their policy to call you twice a day beginning 5 days BEFORE your payment is due...I should say they'll REACH you 2 times a day because if you don't answer they'll hang up and keep calling back until they talk to you. I've never paid late, not once, with this card and am still harassed and the FDCPA doesn't even apply to them so I can't use that as the basis for a formal complaint. While I understand my credit is bad and I appreciate the opportunity to work on repairing it...these types of practices and their fees make me think I made the wrong choice getting involved with Continental.

Hmmm, Morgan is 17.  Wonder if they are related to me.  At any rate, I get these calls too and it is Continental, also about a "repair-your-credit" type card and wanting the payments.  I called back once and the guy says "How may I help you?"  I said, "I have no idea, you guys called me and I'm just calling back.  My payment's not due for several days yet, and it's my first payment, so don't know."  He says, "Yeah, I see that.  Hmm, I don't know why we called you!"  LOL  At any rate, I don't answer that number now, and you're right, they don't leave messages usually.  Go look up an Orchard Bank credit card for this type and you'll do much better.  Or First Premier.

Oh sorry, didn't put the phone number in right on the "caller ID" section above.  It is for 866-451-8939, obviously.  ;)

While I think it's nice to get a reminder a payment is due, calling me at 7:30 in the morning is NOT the answer. Send me a e-mail or something. Heres the kicker. The payment that is due tomorrow... I made 2 weeks ago!

At least so far, everyone that has called me is in the USA. I HATE giving personal information to anyone overseas.

This is the 2nd day in a row i've gotten a call from them.  Not sure how they got my number.  My ex-fiancee has a card through them but they don't have my phone number, or shouldn't, and I know for a fact I am not on the account so why they are calling me, I have no idea.

Yes I also just received a call from this number. I too just recently got one of their credit cards that cost you 250.00 in fees. But what can I do since nobody else will give me a chance. Thanks for letting me know who the number is all.

They called me everyday for a week asking for Kylie, well my name is not Kylie, nor do I know anyone named Kylie.  I don't have a credit card with them either.  When I answered my phone I was immediately asked "What is your 10 digit phone number?"  Why do they need my phone number, they called me!  I hung up, called the number back and it turns out that one of their cardholders used my cell phone number as their contact information.  Be careful out there!

They call 2 or 3 times per DAY.  Most of the time, they dont say anything, or all I hear is breathing. DO NOT get a credit card through Continental Finance.  They asked me for my bank info so my first payment wouldnt be late.  What a load of crap!!

Yes, I get calls starting about a week in advance of my due date.  There have been times I've already made my payment and they continue to call "as a courtesy".  They don't look to see that you've already made your payment.  This is ridiculous!

I have never heard of continental finance or had a credit arrangement with them.  This same "continental finance" company has called my cellphone 5+ times per day for over six months using a machine that turns into heavy breathing and finally a harrassing and annoying sweat shop from south miami asking all sorts of personal information.  THis is not a legitimate company.  Do not give them personal information.  I have made formal complaints to their "management" and the calls are now more frequent.

BEWARE OF FRAUD.  After I gave them my bank account information thinking I was resolving an issue with my real credit cards, they started debiting my bank account for various amounts every month.  I have tried to contact them to stop and keep getting a "we've never heard of you and have no record of that".  Finally, my real bank kaboshed it and has filed a complaint.

This is a fraud. dont give them anything.

This is Continental Finance.  They are NOT a true credit card company.  I hooked up with them because they said I'd have a 300.00 credit limit, but that's not true.  All you get is what you put into it MINUS all their fees!
Tell 'em to screw off.  I reported them to BBB, Fair Credit, and Consumer Fraud.  Not once did these idiots report my payments to to the credit companies.  The feds are closing in on them  for FRAUD.

I got a new cell phone today, within 2 hrs of activating it received over 5 call from 1-866-451-8939, I answered it once, and was disconnected. Not only do I not have an account with these guys they certainly don't have my contact information (i didn't until 2 hrs ago). So these are doing nothing more than cold calling and hoping to con people in to providing information

Be aware of these guys, also anyone who calls before 8AM and after 9PM or more than 3 times (in Texas) this is Harassment - JUMP on THEM, I am.

Report them to the BBB and the State Attorney General

I do have a credit cardc through them and it's a total ripoff. I've never had questionable credit and they never told me that this card was for repairing credit.
